    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

I think the "learning curve" is a bit too steep for my knowledge right now. I've tried to setup a OpeCore bootloader on a stick, no success so far. Many Questions appear. What did you do for emulated NVRAM for example? Anyway, here's my first attempt, maybe you can tell me if I'm on the right...

    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

Yes, you definitely have a point on this. It's just because i'm already using a few opencore drivers for Filevault2 and i'm astonished how flawless it works. So i try to approximate to opencore with the goal to change in a few months. I don't use Uni/Multibeast anymore. Yes, thank you for this...

Has Someone already tried to setup a Maximus IX Z270 with OpenCore? I'm really interested in changing soon my bootloader and would like to compare with some other EFI folders.

What problems do appear, if you try to boot it? Do you use the FileVault prebooter in Clover? Thanks for the hint with /L/E/ and EFI. I will put Acidanthera-kexts from now on only in my EFI. Did you find some other unfitting things in my EFI, that i could improve?

    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

oh no. Did you try the same drivers a i did? I found out that rebuilding the kextcache with kextutility destroys my new kext, so i've just installed them with kextbeast and skipped the part with kextutility. Don't know why but the first time i've encountered this was with the...

Strange. For me it works so far. Did you update to WhateverGreen 1.3.4 to use 10.15.1? Yes, same for me, I think I will still wait some months due to my limited knowledge... :)

    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

Yes, i managed to enable FV2 as well, with changing these drivers and kexts: As far as I know, i use now Clover and OpenCore elements. Is that true?

    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

I found the reason for the slow boot. It is connected to Filevault 2 and likely outdated UEFI drivers. With the help of these to posts (link1, link2) i changed some UEFi drivers, seems like I have now a weird mixture between Clover and OpenCore. I'm not yet prepared to change to OpenCore, but...

    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

Strange. Since I've done the update to 10.15, my system seems to be much more unstable. The Boot-time skyrocketed up to 2 minutes, starting from the Cover Boot screen. I've encountered problems with sleep and reactivating my computer afterwards. Problems I didn't have with 10.14. The problem is...

    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

Thanks for this hint. I've added "change EC0 to EC" in CloverConfigurator. Before my hack stuck after the first reboot in the installing process. Now everything works smooth.

You shouldn't update the OS before you've run MultiBeast correctly, and you have a more or less stable hack. What you have to try now, is to boot with the (by UniBeast built) bootable stick and rebuild your EFI correct as described above (post791). Easiest way to do so is by deleting your EFI...

    [SUCCESS] ASUS Z270 ROG Maximus IX Hero - i7-7700K - 32GB RAM - Intel HD 630

First of all you should use and download the latest version of Multibeast. You can find it in the download section or here. Then reboot again to install your efi in a good manner: you will first need to plug in your Bootable stick created with unibeast and choose it in your bios as first option...

Ok. I see. Maybe lets start from a different angle. Did you download just the update of the osx or the full version of Mojave? What size does it have? Maybe you should download once again from here and rebuild one bootable usb.

I think the GTX 1070 doesn't work with Mojave, but the vega 64 does. Maybe this is a place to start, or did I got you wrong?

questions concerning UEFI drivers and boot volume related to File Vault 2

Thanks. I've succeeded using AppleUiSupport.efi, SMCHelper.efi and UsbKbDxe.efi. I've booted through preboot, because i'm not quite sure if I need the step with recovery partition, given the fact, that my drive is already encrypted. Any idea? I couldn't find AppleUiSupport.efi in the clover...

questions concerning UEFI drivers and boot volume related to File Vault 2

Hi everybody. I'm still doing some research on Filevault 2 and got confronted with some questions i couldn't find a answer. I managed to get a working hack on one my test disk (Irrsinn) with filevault2, but some questions need to be addressed. First, I would like to know which of the File...

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Sadly, I didn't take any screenshots. So then I assume, i will stay for ever the only observer of this miracle. :) Or did anybody else see such abnormal behaviour? *Edit: I think the reason was, that the pci-e wasn't perfectly connected to the board. Now it has the id 14e4:43ba again.
