How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@kgp Regarding your talk about Nvidia and CUDA a couple of pages back. Have you, (or anyone else in this thread) tried to use CUDA without Nvidia Web Drivers? Why im asking is because i really need a stable system, and my random crashes won't stop with my 1080ti. I need cuda for 3D rendering...

Looks good looking at the screenshots. Could you try with a different tb-device? If it shows up in thunderboltchain in windows, but doesnt mount, it sounds like another issue than the titan ridge. It should work now

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

You don't have any FakeSMC.kext in your folder. You don't have NvidiaWeb checked in your config under System Parameters Try this to begin with. Also, check your bios settings. Have you really followed kgps guide?

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@jaminmc I haven't had a single crash on my X299A (4 days of heavy cuda-work now) , since i downloaded the latest builds of fakesmc+sensors and removed the gpusensor.kext before it crashed once a day on heavy cuda tasks. Will try it for a couple of days, and then try to switch back one kext at...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Log out from your icloud, reboot, and then read the official post of @kgp on how to set the SMBIOS up properly. Read very carefully, and you shouldn't have any icloud issues. Make sure that you get a unique Serial, that isn't used by a normal Mac.

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@vamzi21 What country do you live in? If i were you i would buy the x299-deluxe or x299-a , if it’s available in your country. The first one is recommended, cause kgp already optimized everything for that mobo. Buy a Titan-Ridge for thunderbolt, if it’s not available where you live, buy from...

I had the alpine-ridge before, and i had a lot of problems getting it work. Now with titan, it works flawless. I’ve had dual monitors without any problems, right now i only use one though. Have you followed the guide from start to finish? What biosversion are you running?

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

This probably because you are not clearing CMOS after flashing. It happened to me before. Shut of the computer, hold CLR_CMOS for a couple of seconds. And turn it back on, re enter bios settings or load presaved bios settings from usb. if it still doesnt work, repeat procedure but take out...
