Just a note again. I bought a MacMini 2018 which uses Mojave 10.14.4. Here I did not get the TL-WN823N V2 to work, until I installed the latest drivers of the V3. It seems that there was some issue with the V2 drivers for APFS file system.
Anyhow, the V3 drivers work for the MacMini. Maybe that...
Yes it works under Mojave (I tried TP Link WN 823 V2 using the latest drivers for V2).
Just a side note: Before connecting the wifi stick the first time, install the drivers and reboot. If I first connect the stick and install drivers, I get a message, that no NIC is available sometimes.
Solved in this thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-audio-realtek-alc-255-256.261476/https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-audio-realtek-alc-255-256.261476/
What I did:
Put AppleALC.kext, FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext to /Library/Extensions.
Had to inject...
I used AppleALC.kext + Lilu.kext in EFI/Clover/kexts/Other and injected layout-id 6 in config.plist. Layout-id 6 worked for me under High Sierra with the exact same notebook. Now in Mojave it is not working anymore.
I tried all layout ids in this range (1-11, 13-16, 18-20, 27-30, 32, 33...
Just one general question: If I had the exact same hardware under High Sierra and Audio with AppleALC.kext layout-id 6 worked for me - should it then also work after a *fresh* install of Mojave with the same layout-id or may the layout-id have changed?
The basic question is: Is the layout-id...
Can you please post your last config.plist?
Have also a HD520 and issues with it.
EDIT: Also works now for me. I re-read the post and saw, that I did not use the WhateverGreen.kext but the old IntelGraphicsFixup.kext. Using the WhateverGreen.kext got me working immediately.
Ok, true. Looks like a perfect match. I just looked into the Clevo patches. So mine would be redundant. I have one recommondation: Since the MicroXpert computer also looks like a Clevo rebrand and I know many different companies which do Clevo rebrands (TuxedoComputers, mySN, MicroXpert, one.de...

Thank you for the answer.
Just wanted to note if someone finds this thread, that I got audio working on 10.13.4 on Tuxedo InfinityBook 13v2 (which is some kind of Clevo rebrand) with ALC269 VC V3. I did it now via AppleALC.kext. Steps I had to do:
Remove all changes from previous tryouts and...
I think Apple will only switch to ARM if they can improve something over the current situation. May it be thinner devices or longer battery runtime, or ...
But, if Apple does something others will also do the same (only USB-C on a Notebook? -> Guess what, Dell does it too on the XPS 13 now...
EDIT: Ignore this post. Had it deactivated via keyboard shortcut... :banghead:
Thanks for the answer.
After reading a lot in your guides, I realised, that I made several mistakes on the way (mixing different approaches, installing kexts to Clover/kexts, ... many more). So I decided to...
I did not manage to get ALC269 to work. With not work I mean that the Audio Volume setting in the top panel is greyed out and there are no audio output and no input devices are listed in the system preferences.
I started with toleda's before installing audio guide and then realised that...
Just as side note:
Long time ago I purchased the TL-823WN V2 and it did not work for me under Sierra. But, now since there were new drivers linked in this thread I tried it again.
I can confirm that the linked drivers...
try to install High Sierra 10.13.4. Bootable stick created via Unibeast 8.3.2.
Stuck at gIOScreenLockState (see attached file). I have tried to run with SIP 0x0 and SIP 0x3. Computer is described in my profile.
Also tried with and without InjectIntel.
Tried to add lilu.kext and...
you should follow this guide by heart. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/applehda-realtek-audio-guide.234732/
All steps are there, start with one and work through it. Read each step two times. Some times there are steps where you can choose between different options.
If you're stuck at a...
