I was also having a hard time getting my GPU displaying 4K. I wasn't able to figure it out so I returned it but I was using a RX 570.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

Maybe for movies mainly and just normal web surfing. And mainly just to see if I could figure it out and get it working. What options do I have for the GPU besides the Quadro? I have a SFF.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

So what BIOS are you all running on the 9020? I might have to bite the bullet and buy a dedicated GPU can't get the 4K working.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

Yes currently using 14,2 I did a dual boot with Windows to see if it was a cable or something else but windows does recognize 4k. If I'm running a nvme should I have the clover folder on a USB for initial boot or should the nvme also have the same clover folder ? And I need to read on how to...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

Ok so I switched out the cable and the app shows the 4k resolution but I can't select it under the options. How do I check that both Lilu and whatevergreen are being loaded? I just checked under about this Mac system info extension and I do see both whatevergreen and Lilu anything else I have to...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

So I finally got around to unpacking the monitor and using the Display port I can only get 2k not 4k resolution. 2560x1440 is the option I see and lower resolution. I have tried both bios primary display as Intel and Auto both give me the same results. Not sure what else I might be missing.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

So I finally was able to boot from the NVMe. I did a fresh install, but, instead of using a USB to create the install, I used a old SATA drive I had laying around. It right away recognized the NVMe on Clover Boot Screen. Not sure what I was doing wrong in the USB Installer that I couldn't get it...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

@nicksoph so did you format your NVMe as Extended Journal or apfs? And would you mind taking a picture of your BIOS boot sequence and the folder containing the NVMe EFI.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

I got the LG monitor delivered; I will test it later. Finally gave up on the NVMe and currently using a Crucial SSD. The only thing I noticed is, following the guide when you check kext before the reboot to test sound, the folder does not contain the Intelmausiethernet.kext I added manually. So...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

It was one that I used on my Alienware not a new one. Xpg sx8200 pro.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

So, after I formatted the NVMe as extended journal instead of APFS, I was able to boot and see it on Clover USB. It also allowed me to install Mojave until the second step right before it reboots and goes to the language selection screen. But, after that reboot, it would go back into Clover and...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

What are you guys using for Bluetooth and WiFi? The card recommended on guide looks good minus the fact that the seller doesn't accept returns.

@nicksoph I'll look at it when I get back home. I was able to boot and install off a mechanical drive but it's so slow lol.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

I was talking about the folder structure with the downloaded driver files from the guide. Meant to say hfsplus.efi file and the NvmExpressDxe-64 driver. I'll read around thanks.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

So the NVMe drive should be in the same folder as the hfiplus or what folder does it go on? That's how I had it structured not sure if it's in the wrong folder. I have it in the UniBeast USB drive I created under EFI Clover Drive64uefi.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

@trs96 OK, so after creating the new flash drive, I had to disable secure boot in order to allow me to enable Legacy Boot Option. Now I'm attempting to install it will let you know how it goes. Are all NVMe supported or only certain ones work? I had one that I kept from my Alienware. It...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - Core i7-4790 - AMD Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K 27" IPS Monitor

F2 does work. I think when I formated the drive it did it as a master partion instead of guid so I created the flash drive again. F12 and F2 both work just not the cntrl p combo.
