I've owned four real Apple computers, all had one or more hardware failures in the first few months. I realized that Apple was in pursuit of form over function, so finally I just decided to build my own. I have run the same setup for 5 years now with zero failures, and zero problems.

Nope, you need a newer version of Clover than the one that you used a while ago with ElCap. So upgrade Clover to a version newer than 3600 before you begin.

Worked like a charm for me. Only had to re-run the 1.20 audio script. note: my system is on clover 3650, my bios is iMac13,2, and my video card is natively supported in the OS.

Just had to cover all the bases ;) What happens if you use F12 and manually select UEFI:yourdrivename ?

In your MB BIOS you might want to double check that the drive is in your device boot list, and that your boot method is set to UEFI.

It can be pretty painless if you already have an updated version of clover as your existing boot loader and a natively supported video card.

I open feedback, begin to create a message (or not, makes no difference), and 2-3 seconds later "poof", hard crash. Does anyone know if there is some dependency on having real mac hardware to use this app? Everything else in the OS I've used is stable, including many 3rd party apps.

Other then having to re-run the audio script, smooth and easy update. My front panel audio now detects and works properly (was M.I.A. in beta 1-6).

I did somehow. Downloaded on a 13.2, installed on the same (using the 13.2 in the plist on the usb drive as well). Maybe I found a loophole unknowingly?

Probably a not yet mature combination of beta and vid driver. If you remove the vid driver does it still crash? Your processor/mobo hardware would match a 13.2 profile btw, not 14.2.

works! placed kext in clover .../10/11 folder, ran the applicable terminal commands (for Nvidia), and rebooted to a working iTunes. big thanks to the OP and the Kext creators EL Cap 11.6 / Clover 3650 / GTX 780 / iTunes 12.4.3.1

It runs just fine, as long as you have the newer version of clover already on your hard drive. I did an in place upgrade straight to beta2 from El Capitan with Clover 3650 pre-installed (kexts = fakesmc + intel1000e). To complete the install on the reboot you have to toggle clover over to...
