    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

My machine doesn't sleep with v2.2.0. Order of events; Downloaded Monterey version, added into EFI. Added MinKernal/MaxKernal 21.0.0 - 21.99.99 Rebooted, reset NVRAM. Tested the WiFi, works well, sleep doesn't. Reverted back to v2.1.0 - sleep works. Monterey 12.6.2 SMBIOS iMacPro 1,1...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Thanks for the responses, @CaseySJ. I don't think it's the same dimensions. This seems longer with the adapter? Will it work anyway? Should I attempt or just opt in for the one with you're using that's the same dimensions? Just thought I'd use it as I had it laying around. If it won't fit, I...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

WiFi/Bluetooth help. @CaseySJ, or anyone, how do i remove the I/O cover? Can I do it while it's in the case or do I need to pull the board out? Finally got my A/E key M.2 NGFF adapter card and wanting to swap out the WiFi/Bluetooth to the BCM943602CS from an old 11,5 MacBook Pro (mid 2015) i...

Woah, what are your metal scores like? And did you use a riser to slot the second GPU in or placed in right under the first GPU? Looking at mine i don't see much clearance for the second GPU.. It'll go in, but the airflow would be horrible.

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Hi mate, both 12th and 13th gen CPU's will work depending on the BIOS version of the board. Regarding BIOS version, check first post spoilers for the post regarding Thunderbolt 2 devices <-- Important. I'm using Corsair Vengeance 32GB 5600 non RGB RAM CL36, works well with XMP enabled 4K...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

My metal scores went from 180k to 220k just by changing the SMBIOS from 7,1 to 1,1. So yes, big improvement for Metal applications such as Adobe products.

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Z790 here - I've tested BIOS versions 0204, 0704, and 0814. All work. Haven't tested 0816 due to @ramazarusx mentioning some issues. Front USB-C port works, but has issues, causes sleep issues on Mac (and unstable transfer speeds on Windows), could be a board issue. Thunderbolt 1/2 devices...

    ProArt Z790 + 13900K CPUFriend kexts.

I went with iMacPro1,1 - doesn't require CPUFRIEND kexts at all and performance seems to better (especially Metal scores). The less kexts, the better.

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

I don't know what's going on here, but this worked?! Plugged USB in front A port, slept, went to sleep!? Woke up, removed USB, slept again and went to sleep. On the second wake it rebooted with report; After restart tried again this time with no USB connected in front port.. Went to sleep...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Yes on macOS - front USB-C Port mounts drive, un-mounts a second later, then re-mounts 5 or so seconds later. On Windows - I can't recall it un-mounting/re-mounting however it doesn't seem stable. Tends to drop out when transferring files, and, when it doesn't drop out, it takes way longer than...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@m4rk0, happens on my Z790 aswell. @Leesureone, so the recent Win11 update also updated/installed these two driver packages which could have very well caused the sleep issue in MacOS. I've disabled 10Gb port in BIOS and no dice. I'll downgrade these firmware and see if it fixes the issue...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

See it updated a few weeks ago, and I noticed my Thunderbolt audio interface would give me BSOD when changing sample rate from 44.1 to 48k upon logging in. So I downgraded and paused the Auto-Update and worked fine. Then it told me I couldn't pause any longer and updated - hasn't given me a...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Quick question - would updating Windows affect sleep on Mac? Win11 updated on me yesterday and now my machine doesn't sleep on Mac? Auto or forced - screen goes black, just doesn't switch off.. Weird. Nothing has changed EFI wise. Tried NVRAM reset, still same result. Any ideas?

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

To be honest, I haven't tried with any specific 6900 SSDT.. I am using a BRG0 SSDT in my EFI though. Perhaps I could try that approach and see if it changes anything?

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

I may be out of luck as i need to spoof my card for it to work.. (73AF XTXH). Well, the temperature shows up with Radeon sensor kexts, just doesn't show the VRAM usage or the actual card model itself.. I suppose i'll live with it. Thanks

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

I It is, still nothing. At some stage I remember commenting out the audio DP - this; And the GPU showed up correctly in iStatistica (without the RadeonSensor kexts). Although my machine started playing up and eventually locked up 10 mins in, so i reverted back. Does that make any sense...
