Hi people,
I'm pleased to say that after upgrading to the F9 bios on my GA-Z87X-UD3H, I no longer have to crawl under my desk to unplug and plugin my ethernet cable to get my IP assigned correctly.
Hi xxrazorflamexx,
I'm having the same sort of problem with my ethernet connection.
However when I unplug and plug back in the cable it works.
Very annoying.
Hi Khan,
The GPU is being detected automatically.
Shows my graphic card in fully under About This Mac.
But the auto assigned driver messes up my mouse movement.
Now that I use Duckweed in my Boot.plist it's shown like this again "Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6xxx 1024 MB"
But my mouse...
Hi Stork,
Thanks for your reply.
This is my Boot.plist
<key>AtiConfig</key>
<string>Duckweed</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Graphics Mode</key>...
Got it working now :-)
When the card is detected by system it all looks great under the about my system with the full description.
However, it's seems that chosen framebuffer is the reason for my draggin mouse.
I have now set it to duckweed and it works good so far.
Well, I guess I found the problem!
As soon as my graphics card is truly detected and installed, the problems start.
It's a Sapphire HD6870 which already needed special care lol.
When the mouse started to drag, I decided to try the onboard graphics and the mouse runs smooth again.
Still...
Hi Stork,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm reinstalling Mavericks at this very moment.
First install I did, I just copied adam smasher's settings but I now see I don't need to install Network kext since it works out of the box.
Going to install everything one by one and see if network sticks...
*HELP_PLS!* GA-Z87X-UD3H -Mavericks Mouse Stutter & random network connection.
Since my P6T Deluxe setup started to randomly restart out of itself and I couldn't find a quick solution, I decided to buy the GA-Z87X-UD3H and an i5-4670K 3 days ago after checking the Buyers Guide here on Tonymac...
Same problem here.
First boot worked for me with Unibeast still hooked up but after installing Chimera, no go.
From my backup disk with a working ML, I installed Easy beast setup from new Multibeast without success.
Hi people,
Since I never been able to update my system ever since I started using a Hackintosh system, I decided to do a fresh install of 10.8.5.
Been having loads of problems installing it because (it turned out later) my ram wasn't installed correctly.
Something I never noticed using...
Article: Troubleshooting iMessage Login Issues
Installed Chimera 2.0.1. - changed used serial number with Chameleon Wizard - Set Network Device Priority as described above - Erase all Network Settings then Re-Add Devices as described above. However, still this http://cl.ly/NEtw Everything else...
Weird enough, I'm still not able to login.
However, installing Chimera 2.0 did fix my Bluetooth problem which
presented itself by letting me wait for about 10 mins before being able to fill in my password in order to login.
I still would like to find a way to get iMessage to work again.
So...
**Can't type password at login screen?** FIXED!
Tonight I wanted to use iMessage which I never ever really use.
Found out it didn't work (I heard/read about problems, just never was confronted with it myself).
So I browsed for a solution to the problem and stumbled upon Chimera 2.0.1...
Hi CharlesEdward,
I checked my Bios settings for CPU PLL but it's set to auto.
Only other option is to add a value which I don't need.
There's no option in my bios to disable it.
Hi CharlesEdward,
First of, thanks for your reply.
However, since it's been working flawless for months, I doubt disabling cpu pll overvoltage will do the trick.
I haven't changed anything hardware wise.
Just became slow from one day to another. :-(
Hi seeloesix,
I did manage to solve my bluetooth problem quick after this post and made use of a .kext that is modified by one of the tonymac users.
Sorry, don't remember his name anymore. You can find it >Here<.
Just install with KextBeast and restart.
This worked great for me and...
