XMP is disabled already. Running at stock 2133 Mhz
2 RAM Modules running in correct slots as per motherboard manual
Make: G.Skill Ripjaws V 2400 Mhz
Yes BIOS was Reset at 2 places. One through Load Optimized Defaults and I also shorted the pin on motherboard to totally reset it. I have only Disabled CSM, enabled Windows 10 WHQL and disabled Serial port. Rest of the settings are unchanged with no overclocking or tweaking. CFG Lock is disabled...
Thanks for replying.
The problem occurs both these times:
SSDT-UIAC-VISION-D-V2 + USBIinjectAll.kext + XhciPortLimit checked ON
Properly mapped USBPorts.kext
For port map,
I have set USB-C front header port to 9 for each direction SS01 and SS02 and 10 for HS01 because any USB 2 devices like...
@CaseySJ
I am using Gigabyte Vision G and I have also mapped all the required ports correctly using your SSDT UIAC V2 for Vision G. I made my own USBPorts.kext using Hackintool and I use that one instead of any SSDTs. My hack works perfectly in all areas in Big Sur Dev Beta 6 / Public Beta 2...
Those having difficulty in booting USB installation via Latest official OpenCore 0.6.0 or with nightly 0.6.1 make sure you have correct USBX-EC-SSDT.aml in ACPI folder and USBInjectAll.kext and USBPort Limit quirk enabled under Kernel section of config.plist. If you cannot create your own...
@mattystonnie
Unfortunately I tried both the ACPI patches and even the SSDT and absolutely nothing helps to boot my Hackintosh with latest bios. Motherboard is MSI X299 Tomahawk AC. I have to revert to 1B bios to be able to boot. 1D, 1E and 1F Bioses don't work and those are the ones with...
New official firmware for Aquantia Cards. It will not magically make your cards compatible with macOS.
https://www.aquantia.com/support/driver-download/
Tested on
1. AQC-107 (Asus XG-C100C)
2. AQN-107 (From Aquantia themselves. Arrow retailer)
3. AQC-107S (Syba 10 GBE)
All cards updated...
Have you checked SSD or NAS RAID level bottlenecks?
Any SATA3 based SSD will max out at 550 MBps. You will also need Core i5 based NAS with 6-8 7200 RPM drives running on RAID 5-6 to max out 10 Gbe Bandwidth.
Initial high speed might be some SSD or RAM cache. Find that out.
You need NVMe to...
At the moment it is pointless to use any of the 10.13.3 flashed Aquantia cards in any future macOS versions.
@pastrychef I spoke with Aquantia Engineer and he confirmed that AQC-107s (With "s" suffix) is necessary for the card to work in macOS OOTB. You might see the "s" if you remove the...
So found out that Syba was not the issue. Windows update messed up with LAN's MAC address and it was showing some generic address instead of Syba's actual one. Hence WOL was not working.
After clean install of Windows 10, WOL started to work again.
For everyone wondering why a random Aquantia...
This Syba card is kinda unreliable. After a month it suddently stops doing WOL. So I have to unplug it and keep it aside for few days and then it magically starts to do WOL. It seems like capacitor discharge issue.
It has happened 2 times. I checked if some Windows Update borked my install but...
BTW I was the one who originally found that Syba card worked OOTB back in 1st week of Jan 2019. mm2margaret merely confirmed my findings. Second thing to note is that any Aquantia card having AQC107s chipset will work OOTB in macOS 10.13.4 and above. Notice the small "s" after the name of the...
Sleep on macOS is a lost cause. So is WOL. I have had absolutely zero issues with hangs or beachballs with Syba in my system and that is for 3 months.
It might be something to do with your config file in clover.

Syba card accepts default Aquantia drivers.
Driver download from Aquantia's own website give v.2.1.16 (as of today) but this driver does not have temperature and cable length diagnostics.
Pro tip: If you install the 2.1.5 driver found on station-drivers website on Windows 10, it has a special diagnostic which determines cable length. I have 2 Cable wires in my house taking 2 different routes from 10Gbe switch to my PC. The cat7 cable shows length as 16 mts. This is correct...
Another user has posted success story on different forum. Suffice to say that we have found the holy grail of 10gbe networking without doing any modifications.
