Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H has anyone updated to the last available beta BIOS? [SOLVED]

It did, yes :) The only things I have now are my Mojave SSD drive and 3 internal drives used for storage. (Not sure why those 3 are shown, as they don't have an OS on them, and aren't bootable) Still, it's night and day difference.

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H has anyone updated to the last available beta BIOS? [SOLVED]

Yes, I did those, (at least the ones that were available in the BIOS after flashing) I adjusted the options I saw. The ones I marked as N/A are not shown to me. Disable Fast Boot - Yes Secure Boot - N/A Serial/COM Port - N/A Parallel Port - N/A VT-d (can be enabled if you set DisableIoMapper...

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H has anyone updated to the last available beta BIOS? [SOLVED]

Thank you for the correction, and additional info! Hopefully that's the fix for the dupe entries. Update: I was on F5, updated to F8, giant boot list gone! All I have for boot options now are now are my OS drive and internal audio/storage drives, which I believe have UEFI folders on them or...

These are the last available updates I can see: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-Z77X-UD5H-rev-11/support#support-dl-bios Has anyone installed any of these, AND did it fix the issue of having endless boot options from your BIOS menu? Any other issues?

    [SOLVED] Gigabyte Boot Loop

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H. Any idea how to clear out the now 20 entries in the boot list, shown when you press the delete key on startup? 90% of these entries are from previous builds/drives/thumbdrives etc that no longer exist.

UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

[Solved] I found an older thread which said to set the OS calendar year to the same year as Multibeast, 2019 in this case. Once I did that, no more failures. Hopefully helpful to someone.

UniBeast: Install macOS Mojave on Any Supported Intel-based PC

I got through the Mojave install to my SSD, and have booted to the SSD/OS via mu USB drive. I'm trying to install the basic stuff from Multibeast UEFI Mode, nothing else, and it fails every time, and tells me to look at the logs. Where are the logs? I did a search on my drive, but nothing...

Can't boot past the Apple logo after updating Clover

I was able to get Multibeast built a little at a time. Looks like that bug where you have to match your computers year to match the year of the Multibeast version is still a thing. Once I set computer to 2019 to match this verison, no more failures when building my config Making a backup dmg of...

Can't boot past the Apple logo after updating Clover

Yes, I tried that orig one yesterday, and I still get stuck at the Apple logo. The verbose info was very cut off on my screen, I tried to upload the video I took, but I can't seem to upload QT files here. Maybe not supported? The pics wouldn't upload either, even when I changed the extension to...

Can't boot past the Apple logo after updating Clover

Hi I tried using the backup, and can't get past the Apple logo for some reason :( I put in a new battery for the mobo. I'm going to verify the BIOS settings as @trs96 suggested and see if that makes a difference. If not I think it's time to grab some files off the SSD and start all over with a...

Can't boot past the Apple logo after updating Clover

Hmmm, everything on the system was working perfectly, until I watched that video about updating Clover and I probably updated it wrong. Ever since then, the boot Clover boot screen entries are different, and I'm dead in the water. Unless somehow updating Clover changed my BIOS settings, none of...

Can't boot past the Apple logo after updating Clover

I don't know. Like I said earlier, I haven't messed with any Hackintosh stuff in 4 years, and when I did, it never got this deep. I realize I did "something" wrong (who knows what), but I'm losing time & money by not having my studio computer available for clients, which is what this machine is for.
