The masochist in me is wondering if Ventura is problem-free on this platform. What has everyone's experience been? Seems when things are humming along, that's when I get the urge to mess with upgrades.
Just today I've started having Bluetooth disappear. No updates, hardware of config changes. Reboot fixes it, but not for long. The icon I there but nothing listed under it. I can turn the radio button on and off to no avail, and selecting Bluetooth preferences does nothing.
This is with a...
Got it. No warning at bootup, but validator still says this. Both OC and Validator versions match. 0.8.7
OCS: No schema for HibernateSkipsPicker at 2 index, context <Boot>!
OCS: Failed to calculate size of true field containing <empty> as type integer, context <ShowPicker>!
Serialisation...
Yep. I must have had the old config.plist from before that was an option and updated from that on my second "test" drive.
That is fixed, and I manually updated to 0.8.7. all seems working except a quick alert at bootup
OCS: No schema for LegacyEnable at 2 index, context <NVRAM>!
Not sure...
Just updated to Monterey 12.6.2 from 12.6.1, and the Aquantia card is missing now. Also, I used hackindrom to go from 0.8.2 to 0.8.3, but did that before the update and the network card was working at that time.
What do I do to get the Aquantia back? Also, I have seen reference to OpenCore...
Anyone know of a tool that can change the LED color of the Corsair RAM and AIO? I do it in windows, but when I reboot it goes back to the pukey rainbow bright. It lights up my whole room. I am considering getting non LED ram just to stop it. lol
I'm on 0.8.2 right now. Of course i'd probably want to update, but I have PTSD after doing an update a while back, and booting to a black screen. Luckily I had a bootable USB to get back where I was, and I think I skipped that update altogether.
Assuming if I get brave enough to try Ventura next week I will need OC 0.8.5 at the least? I will probably do a CCC clone first anyway, but when a new OS comes out I get both brave and careless, so I was hoping you guys would save me from the pain, especially those of you who have been...
CaseySJ, how did you get the VRR opptions on your 6800? I have my new GPU installed and it booted coprrectly. I only get 4k 120Hz with displayport, not HDMI (despite the monitor and card both being 2.1). I don't, however, see the freesync, VRR options you showed a few pages back. Wondering...
Yay. RX 6800 on the way to replace my RX570 and hopefully drive my 4K monitor at high refresh rates. Please remind me what I need to change to get the machine to boot with the new card. If I remember, at least on previos OC versions, there was a switched that needed ticked. I am on 0.8.3 and...
Yeah. I mainly want a high refersh rate option at 4k. I can do 120Hz at 1080p, but I lose HDR. I imagine my rx570 is the limitation.
It would be cool for the VRR feature to work too, but high refresh rate would be ideal even by itself. Once you get used to it, 60hz looks blurry. It...
