I did some tests with my Skylake system changing only smbios to 18,3. I had no issues with the installation but the system stopped waking up after sleep mode (actually the screen remains black). With all the previous os I didn't have any problem with sleep/wake. Any tips? ps: I have...

did you change only smbios? not any other setting? could you share your config.plist to be my guide?

So it’s not possible to enable the the sleep slider anymore? I tried some methods to add the edited IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext to system/library/extensions but all I managed was to destroy the boot at the end

After updating FeatureUnlock to version 1.0.4 AirPlay support is vanished from my 17.1 Skylake hack. Returned back to 1.0.3 and AirPlay is active again.

unfortunately he still uses Big Sur, on Big Sur I didn't have any issue, the problem is with Monterey

I don't want to go back to regular ssd drive so I'm looking for an nvme drive without boot issues. I read somewhere that the chip of wd sn750 is "more" compatible that's why we don't read reports for big delays from users with wd drives but I want to be 100% sure before I buy it.

Replacing Samsung nvme 970 evo with wd black sn750 will the boot time go back to normal?

I have a perfectly running Hackintosh but there is a small issue. During the boot stucks for around 10 sec at the following msg "Previous shutdown cause: 5". Is it something normal? Is there any fix? I use OpenCore 0.6.2 with Catalina.
