macOS Big Sur Does NOT Boot with iMac14,2 System Definition

Thanks for the advice. I do have an AMD Radeon 480 on another computer that I hacked with similar specs. The CPU is an Intel i5 2500S, instead of the i7 2600K. I'll try that one and see how it turns out.

The Future of Hackintosh via Intel Chips

Thanks for your response LukeD. You know, there has been speculation in the past about that very thing. I don't think that it will happen soon, but there is still that possibility.

The Future of Hackintosh via Intel Chips

I tried edit the post, but it wouldn't let me. Because it could be misinterpreted, I want to rephrase the question. Basically, I was asking, "Would this mandate that Microsoft is imposing on CPU manufacturers to only support Windows 10 on the Kabylake processors impede, or make it difficult...

The Future of Hackintosh via Intel Chips

I was just concerned because of the mandate regarding the new chips, I didn't want to be limited to Skylake cpus, even though Skylake is great.

The Future of Hackintosh via Intel Chips

It appears that Microsoft has mandated that the new Intel and AMD chips only run on Windows 10. http://www.pcworld.com/article/3112663/software/microsoft-made-em-do-it-the-latest-kaby-lake-zen-chips-will-support-only-windows-10.html I was looking forward to getting the new KabyLake chips. Of...
