Bios update 1.9.1 is out and seems to be working fine. Should be safe to update.
I've also taken the liberty to attach an up-to-date CLOVER (works with 10.13.4 and all latest macOS updates) and KEXTS folder.
CLOVER.zip - Can be used and replace EFI/COLVER (note that only the essential kexts...
I've used the very same drive without having to patch anything before I switched to the Samsung 960 PRO (which also doesn't require any further patching).
As for the Killer wifi, it will not work with macOS. You need to replace the card with DW1560 (2 antennas) to work.
Fair warning to those that picked up on the newly today released BIOS update (1.8.0).
Updated to it and it kept panicking, hanging with graphical glitches even outside of OSes (both Windows and macOS).
Not sure if its only my machine, but I even downgraded and updated it again to make sure...
the 9360 doesn't have an Nvidia chip. no need to disable anything. In theory(since I do not dual-boot), it wouldn't disable anything (Windows side) unless it's done so from the UEFI BIOS, which isn't the case.
Make sure you follow the steps on page 9 thoroughly.
Sounds like BooterConfig and/or CsrActiveConfig aren't set as specified.
Also make sure to set all kexts to /L/E using kext wizard or KextBeast. Try to keep your EFI/Clover/kexts/Other folder as clean as possible with only the...
I had a ton of stuff running in the background including a vm (which i can't switch off right now). but closing most apps and running it again comes closer to what should be expected.
After taking a few months off tinkering with this particular system, I've returned to it last week.
Installation was smooth. got all kexts updated and almost everything is working as intended, except for 2 small annoyances.
1. When the machine is hooked up to my USB-C WD15 docking station or...
They're working fine in High Sierra and nothing in the coding needs to be changed.
Please update your profile accordingly and post your problem report files if you need assistance.
For Sierra, yes.
High Sierra, on the other hand, supports the 960s natively.
for more info on it check Rehabman's FAQ under the "Q. Is my NVMe SSD supported?"
Verify your BIOS settings and make sure you're at the very least in line with OP.
For further settings you can check my post here.
(You can also use the Clover folder attached there for post-install, just remember to generate your own SMBIOS inputs)
Follow RehabMan's guide to create a USB...

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"
Just a thought; Try Fn + Esc and then try brightness keys again.
Might have locked the Fn options out.

I don't use any swipe features since this trackpad is the closest thing to horrid to begin with. Only Secondary click and Tap to Click...
I am, I just have them in S/L/E / L/E.
Bundled them up in the attached zip.
You can most likely get rid of:
CodecCommander.kext (unless you get distortion from audio jack headsets/speakers)
FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext (no real need for it anymore since HD630 is natively supported)...
Yes, everything's working, except the little annoyances with the WD15 and DA200, but seeing you don't use those, you shouldn't have any major problems.
files are attached to post #183
Just generate your own SMBIOS and I do advise to stick to MacBookPro14,1
Question, though;
Why would you want to game on macOS?
You would get much better performance on the very same hardware on windows. Basically due to the fact that the Nvidia/AMD drivers are better optimized for it and most of the very few multi-platform games are actually just ports from...
That worked like a charm! Thanks, Rehabman!
Any chance someone could point me in the right direction for the SSDT-13-sensrhub.aml
PARSE errors I'm getting while trying to compile? This is the only one left giving issues.
Problem reporting files are available from post #2510 (nothing has...
