    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@madmax559 HWMonitor doesn't show GPU temp for me, but HWMonitorSMC2 does show my Radeon RX 580 temp. OC 0.8.6/Ventura 13.0.1. Gigabyte Designare Z390.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@bidouilleur Just a wild guess, but replace the BIOS battery? Or re-install the current BIOS?

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@Rag You also need the iStatistica Sensors app. It has to be installed separately. I think when setting up the Settings... when clicking on the Sensors button if the Sensors app wasn't installed yet it would offer to install it.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@EdBogie Sorry to butt in, but this could be caused by the BIOS setting for CFG Lock being Enabled. Go to your BIOS "Boot" window, I'm using BIOS F9i, and see if there is a CFG Lock setting, and confirm it is DISABLED.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@Jasonhacks Yes, I did not have AppleVTD activated which was causing the panics when I tried to use my upper Ethernet connector with Monterey and Ventura. Now with AppleVTD activated I can use either Ethernet connector without problems with Monterey and Ventura. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@nottooshabby Based on the earlier report of problems with the F20 BIOS, and not planning on using Intel 13th gen on this MB, I don't plan to install the F20 BIOS. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it."

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@madmax559 SIP is enabled with my Z390 Designare in OC. In OpenCore Configurator SIP is set in this window under csr-active-config. The 00000000 indicates SIP and SSV are both enabled. There are different values for this variable that set SIP and SSV to different combinations. E7030000 -...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ @skroutz999 EDIT #3 The kernel panics when changing from the lower to the upper ethernet connector while running Ventura and Monterey were resolve by activating AppleVTD. =================== With my Z390 Designaire build, which I rarely use, I don't recall every using the upper...

    Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

@CaseySJ I set csr-active-config to 67000000 as you suggested, and tried to install the latest public beta Ventura RC via Software Update. It also failed at roughly the 15 minute mark with the same error dialog. I also tried a value of EF0F0000 which failed. I then changed the SMBIOS to...

    Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

@craighazan I've been using the iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS starting with my initial build, which CaseySJ used in the golden build. My GB5 CPU and Metal GPU scores with iMacPro1,1 are similar to those in your iMac19,1 post. When I change the SMBIOS to iMac19,1 the Metal GPU score drops by about 15K. I...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@f1zzas I built the Gigabyte Z690 AERO G DDR4 with an i9-12900K following CaseySJ's Golden Build instructions. I've had no problems with it and could recommend it. It's one of my favorite, and probably last hackintosh build as well. DDR5 vs. DDR4 RAM probably doesn't make much difference. The...

    Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

Has anyone had problems doing Ventura public beta updates using Software Update on this B550 Vision D? When I use Software Update to update to the next public beta, the update file is downloaded and the install proceeds to about the 15 minute mark when the update stops and displays this dialog...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

@SebErr I've upgraded my CPU to an i9-9900K, keeping the RX 580. I use OpenCore 0.8.4. I'm running the current version of Monterey as well as the latest public beta of Ventura. Everything seems to be running fine, but this hack is not used on a daily basis. I use a Radeon 6800 XT on another...

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@fvklies You could put your last OC 0.8.1 EFI on a thumb drive's EFI partition, and hold down the F12 on reboot and pick the thumb drive's EFI to see if that boots your system. At the OC Picker check the lower right corner of the monitor to confirm the OC version being used for that boot is...

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@fvklies My Z690 Aero G, i9-12900K, RX 6800 XT, OC 0.8.4, SN750 SE 1TB, Monterey 12.6 and current Ventura public beta both boot in 16 seconds from the OC picker window to the Mac desktop. SetApfsTrimTimeout is set to 0. There haven't been any boot time issues with any OC version for me.

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@MacMarshall I'm not using this motherboard or 128GB of memory, but I had a similar question about compatible memory for a Gigabyte Z690 Aero G DDR4. I checked Gigabyte's compatible memory page and nothing was listed as 64GB, which is what I wanted to install. It was listing 2 x 16GB sticks for...

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@CaseySJ I use a custom SSDT-UIAC.aml that does not use HS01, HS03, or HS05. The only USB2 device I own, other than a keyboard, is a thumb drive. I do have a converter plug like pictured. I plugged the USB2 thumb drive into the converter to test HS01, and HS03. Testing HS05 did not require...

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

All, My Z690 Aero G DDR4 has been running BIOS F6 since very early in the build. I had problems finding 32GB of RAM that would work with the BIOS XMP1 setting selected. I just moved the build to a Lian Li 001D Evo case so I could fit a recently purchased RX 6800 XT card and an AIO 360 cooler in...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

@HackaShaq Yes, I still occasionally use the Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 MoBo. I keep updating it with the latest Open Core and macOS to see how it handles them. The WiFi/BT card I use in this and other builds is the Fenvi FV-T919. It is plug-and-play with nothing needed in the EFI. I see you have...

    [Success] GIGABYTE Z370 Gaming 7 + Intel Core i7-8700K + RX 580 + (2x) Dell P2715Q 4k @ 60Hz

@HackaShaq Glad to see you back! This build was the first hackintosh that got me started on the hackintosh adventure. Without your detailed guide I may never have succeeded. It has been over four years since I posted pictures of my build here that mimicked yours. Since then I had upgraded the...
