Big Sur native usb3.0 pcie cards - are there any?

Ok, I probably messed up with the USB Map tool screenshot but as you can see from the Hackintool screenshot the port mapping looks correct. Here's a screenshot of my USB kext's plist tree, which you can see that Hackintool is picking up if you look at the comments entries

Big Sur native usb3.0 pcie cards - are there any?

Hi @Edhawk, I can confirm with 100% certainty that the device + cable are capable of 10 Gb/s speeds from having tested them with Black Magic on a MacBook Pro.

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

Hi @Elias64Fr I can confirm that I have an onboard Alpine-ridge, non modified. The TB tree show up partially. Only USB controllers are visible, but no drives are mounting. I haven't tried cold booting. Unfortunately I don't have a GPIO Force Power 3 option in my BIOS – I know what you're...

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

Yeah, I tried searching my DSDT for those strings (or portions of it) and I couldn't find anything, so I just left it out. I wonder if my TB3 issues are related to PCI lane allocations? I'm running 3 gpu's so I think I might be pushing the limit of the motherboard because the results are so...

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

Thank you for the follow-up! Unfortunately something is still not right. I double-checked my DSTD, and it's PC00. I don't know where that DSDT with PCI0 came from, but I'm attaching the proper DSDT below. I'm also attaching a Kernel Panic report just in case. I've double-checked that the...

Big Sur native usb3.0 pcie cards - are there any?

@Edhawk I have an ASM2142, but I'm only getting 5 Gb/s speeds. I can't seem to find any information on how to fix this. USB mapping is correct, and I think everything is fine in IOReg and System Information. I'm 100% sure that I'm using a USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gb/s) device for testing. Any ideas?

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

Thanks @NorthAmTransAm, before I try this, I noticed that you're using PCI0.RP05, but my system mounts the TB controller to PC00.RP05, shouldn't I use that instead?

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

lol whatever works, its been 2 year journey with this Hack, and TB is the last remaining thing to get it perfect for my needs, so I don't mind getting extra if we need to! Btw, I tested out video passthrough with the OWE firmware, and it seems to sort of work. Its hit-or miss, but a few...

Thank you! I gave that a shot, but the SSDT didn't load, nor was the TB Bus activated. Question: What's the purpose of the Table Signature field?

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

Thanks @NorthAmTransAm. Please note that I have an on-board Alpine Ridge (firmware version NVM26) The only thing with downgrading my BIOS is that I think I need Above 4G decoding, since I have 3GPU's and I do tons of graphics-intensive work. Here's everything I've got. Lmk if there's anything...

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

The legendary @NorthAmTransAm ! yes, I would really appreciate that. But I must say, I've been trying to get a proper SSDT figured out with CaseySJ and LeleTuratti for quite some time now, and nothing has worked 100%. I'm starting to think it has something to do with my BIOS version...

Thunderbolt Display - USB, Mic, Speaker and Webcam

Any help would be really appreciated I haven't been able to map my USB-C ports because they don't even show up in Hackintool or USBMap. They do show up as XHC2 in iOReg (see in attachments). I think my driver's the issue (GC-ALPINE-RIDGE-NVM21-V3-NATA.bin), because: a) it's a lower version than...
