Thank you Casey. So I was right...
Ummm. I think i'll live without AppleTV at the computer!.
I'm afraid removing the apple id should be terrible for Photos!. I have a big library, and perhaps it would erase it and will ask me for downloading all again...
I'll think about the consequences on...
Never tried AppleTV at the computer.
But I tried today and it doesn't work.
I tried to look for a solution but it seems there are several solutions and causes...
What do you think could be the issue?
I currently have the 0.8.0 Opencore and all works fine. My system is a iMac19,1.
Tank you Going Bald. But unfortunately I didn't find that guide. The General Config.plist dortania guide is massive!
I found that solutios:
Do you think is OK for my case?
I found a new guide...
Well... Finally I unmount the NVMe Monterey drive, and disconnected the rest of SSD and HD drives.
And I managed to install Windows 10.
All is fine now, but only one problem:
I can boot into Windows pressing F12 and choosing Windows drive as boot drive.
But from OC I see both Windows and Mac...
I can't try Bootcamp. Every time I try to download the Windows Support files at the beginning of the Bootcamp process, I got : "Can’t install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.". And it stops...
With the option in "Action" menu also fails...
Thank you for your rapid answer.
Just to be more precise in my explanation, I try to install Windows in a third drive.
I thought bootcamp was only for installing Windows on the same drive than Mac OSX.
So just to confirm, do you mean to use bootcamp to install Windows on the third drive, and...
I'm trying to install Windows on a separate drive.
I have a NVMe already installed with Monterey.
A Second SSD with a CCC Copy as a backup of the main NVMe drive (both of them with their own EFI folder).
ANd I'd like to install windows, but without unmounting the rest of drives. I have...
I answer to myself:
It's amazing, but it's solved. The faulty device was the original apple wired extended keyboard!!
I've been using it from my first Hack , and there was no problem at all.
Investigating this morning, I read an advice from someone stating that the Logitech mouse and keyboard...
Just to ask your advice:
Since my first configuration I always had problems with "sleep".
Just in the moment the system enters into the Sleep mode, in just a second it wakes up.
I updated at the time they appeared to Mojave, BigSur, Monterey... and always the same issue.
A great success!!!
After re-installing from the Monterey App, now it passed the problematic point, and re-booted several more times, but at this case, with the bar growing!! And a final rebbot with the "10 minutes left" etc message.
This morning I tried the same procedure (starting several...
Just a rapid response:
Yes, BigSur boots OK.
After that, I tried to boot in OpenCore from the second Macintosh HD (the temporary HD created by the Monterey installer), but it reboots when the bar is at 5-10%.
I'll try again from the Monterey installer application, but it takes longer as it has...
One question: My SMBios model is an iMac19,1.
I have read some posts related to this, but I'm not sure if that could be a concern.
If I change that to 1Mac17,1, it would be a NEW computer, doesn't it?
And I should lost iMessenger, App Store, etc...
Or is it possible to change just the model...
Thank you for your help.
I add two more images, but the font size is very little and the video is not very clear when the lines are moving up because of the refreshing rate.
Is there any way of making the verbose font greater?
I have exactly the same issue that @Rag.
I'm not doing a fresh install. Just updating from Big Sur, with Opencore 0.7.4 directly from the BigSur HD (ADATA SX8200PNP).
I already had the SecureBootMode = Disabled.
After the first re-boot, there are 2 Macintosh HD drives at the Clover...
Hi Casey. Yes, of course. It's always the Fenvi WiFi card. But I need it!.
The only solution that worked for me in the past was the SSDT-GPRW.aml patch.
In that way, the computer only wakes from sleep with the power button, but it's OK for me.
But now, it doesn't work with Big Sur.
I have to...
I've done it several times, and always was OK. I enabled the Patch.
The only difference is the way of adding the file itself: I copied always manually to OC/ACPI folder, and never added the entry:
Add an entry for it using OpenCore Configurator --> ACPI --> "+" button
I have just updated to Opencore 0.6.3 and updated to Big Sur.
All is OK!!
But the sleep problem has come again.
I used the method explained here:
But it doesn't...
