[Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad T440S [OpenCore 0.6.7]

I tried it on my T440 (Monterey Beta 2 - Clover v5138) but it didn't work. Gave me a bunch of error msgs, I had no time to debug (and update to the latest beta) but then I'll do maybe today and report it to the dev. But it's promising so far seeing from the feedbacks. Now someone just need to...

[Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad T440S [OpenCore 0.6.7]

@soeryobadja For me, the audio also gave a massive headache back then I tried to configure it. I am using Clover tho. I had to enable FixHPET, AddMCHC, FixIPIC, FixMutex, FixRTC, FixTMR, and using LayoutID = 32. After that, the sound and microphone started working. The last thing is the jack, I...

RX 580 and Mojave Upgrade to ASUS Z170 Deluxe Skylake System

Hey! I've also have exactly the same build as yours, you wrote once to my build at Insanelymac about a problem with your BT. Now I have a strange issue that I cannot resolve anyhow. I'm using an USB 7.1 Headphone for Discord, etc., and, if I open/use an application that uses my USB headsets...

    ALC888B (ALC887) - Crackling\popping sounds on Catalina 10.15.2 when playing any sound

So I tried different things to make it work without success. - Created a DSDT for my motherboard - Created an SSDT for my CPU - Removed unnecessary lines/kextpatches from my config.plist - Messed with my BIOS to see if it'll change anything: Disabled HPET result in random restarts (also didn't...

    ALC888B (ALC887) - Crackling\popping sounds on Catalina 10.15.2 when playing any sound

Hi! I recently updated my hack to 10.15.2 from 10.15 and I started having issues with audio (same on 10.15.1). Every time I start a sound for ex. Youtube or in Music app, there are crackling/popping sounds when playing and browsing in Finder, Safari, etc. Happening on rear Green port, 1 HDMI & 1...

    Hackintosh battery life

I tried a lot of things and everything is configured correctly but no luck. It's an OS thing, we can't do anything about it. 4-5 hours on Win, 2 on Mac. Frustrating, but I can live with that.

    Hackintosh battery life

Mine also draining faster than Win (~6W on macOS and ~1.2W on Win). Actually I have to charge my Acer in 2 hours. On Windows it's ~5-6 hours. I'm with PluginType and HWP enabled, best fit smbios (MacBookPro13,3), everything is working. I think my NVIDIA is disabled correctly but I'll look at my...

<< Solved >> P61-USB3-B3 Intel 6 Series - MSI RX 580 No SATA drives and black screen

If you have CSM option in BIOS, then disable it. Also delete "CsmVideoDxe-64.efi" that fixed my problem. Have signals on 2 HDMI ports and 2 DisplayPorts and 1 DVI (DVI is pink, you need to force RGB for that)

<< Solved >> P61-USB3-B3 Intel 6 Series - MSI RX 580 No SATA drives and black screen

Use DisplayPorts. They're working. Unfortunately HDMI ports are not working for me, I have a solution in my mind, but I can't test at the moment because I'm too busy. 1st: If you finally have signal on DisplayPorts, you can try different FBNames like "Orinoco" and see if the HDMI is working or...
