    ASUS X299 Monterey Support

I have the agdpmod = pikera added to the boot flags. I was trying to use SSDT-6950XT-73A5-GPU-SPOOF.aml I've fixed my initial set of errors and the installer is at least booting up. New set of problems, but at least it progress. I'll have to screw around with it later though.

    ASUS X299 Monterey Support

So I'm trying to update my Hackintosh now that I have a current AMD card. I've got the Monterey installer USB booting and I get to the boot menu/ When I select "install MacOS Monterey", I get the apple logo and then it reboots and I'm back at the boot menu. I'm not getting any error messages...

    Games compatibility x299 - x7900 - 1080ti

It was the case sensitive issue for the games at least. They all have to be installed on a non-APFS drive currently. Gysync still doesn't work.

Report your NVIDIA Web Driver and CUDA issues and I'll pass them on to the developers

Well enabling Gsync causes a hard lock on my computer that I have to restart to fix. Sometimes I've had it work for as much as 20-30 min, but that's usually after a clean installation of the OS. More typically it happens within a minute or so of logging in, sometimes only a few seconds. I have...

    Strange problem with gsync

Walle0, do you have just the ultrawide or more than one monitor, there was another thread where they indicated the lock up was related to having multiple monitors connected.

    G-Sync freezes in Sierra

Don't suppose anyone has a fix for this? I'm getting exactly this problem as well. Has anyone tried 2 Gsync monitors to see if it fixes the multiple monitor freeze?

    Games compatibility x299 - x7900 - 1080ti

I am having issues with a number of games crashing or locking up at start. Most of them seem to be Feral Interactive (Civ VI, XCOM 2 : WotC, Borderlands 2). I was wondering if anyone else was having problems with any of these with a similar build. I know Borderlands 2 isn't supposed to work off...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I just wanted to double check. The BIOS editing (Step B1) is just to enable better power management, it isn't necessary for installation. Thanks.

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Kencar has the Apex, not the Extreme. So the boards aren't identical, but should be fairly close. I'd have to check the config to see how closee, it's an overclocking focused board and the Extreme is more of a general purpose board. It looks like the issue was the VoodooTSCSync.kext, I couldn't...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I have double checked and as far as I can tell I have the bios settings the same as yours, but I do have the Rampage VI Extreme so there may well be some differences on that score. Sorry I was insufficiently clear, I get that error every time I boot, what it actually crashes on is usually...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I was not aware previously that Clover Configurator did this, you might want to make it explicit in your guide to use that or another EFI utility to mount it at that point. I'm stuck currently though. I've got a Rampage VI Extreme, 7900x and 1080ti, but I get the low memory relocating error...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

A question about the EFI folder from your zip and installation. In step D-4.B you say " Copy the EFI directory being part of EFI-X299-10.13-Final-Release-280917.zip (attached at the end of this originating post/guide) to the empty EFI partitions of both your USB Flash Drive and your macOS...

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

I got an updated log and it does seem to be the NVME kext. I think the furious disk activity was it writing a log and I usually rebooted before it finished. Which is why I wasn't getting an updated log. I think I know what's happening. I did part of the setup from my NVME drive and it must...

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

I get no warnings or any options to report, it just freezes up and nothing responds, I have to hit the reset button. There is heavy disk activity light going around the time though, so presumably something is happening. It usually happens within seconds of logging in.

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

I understand that, I'm just not convinced that I was looking at the right log for the lockup. It was dated from 2 days previously and the panic log hasn't been updated with a current date, when I've tried booting from the new OS drive since then. I only mentioned it because I wasn't sure...

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

It was a clean install on the SATA drive. I never installed the kext on the new drive to begin with and didn't copy anything other than world of warcraft on to the new drive (no migration). I can't find that kext on the new drive either. I booted the computer from the drive without the NVME...

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

I am getting a lockup as well. It's fine for some period of time after I have booted the computer under 10.12.2, but then it just locks up and I have to reboot it. I've gotten as far as Step 10. I've done the post install stuff. Well I completely removed the NVME SSD and booted off the new...

    i7-4930K - Asus Rampage IV Extreme - 32GB RAM - GTX 770 4GB [Success!!]

I've tried at least 5-6 different sticks USB 2 and USB 3 anything from 8-32 gb on both USB 2/3 and a USB hub. So I was reasonably certain that wasn't it. I listed a bunch of the boot args I tried, since "I've tried all the common boot flags" didn't seem to be clear enough. I know a bunch of...
