This was it! Actually, I had to unplug it from the original USB slot and move it over to another, and about 5 seconds later, it successfully proceeded. The Probook 4430s is now fully configured and functioning with no problems! Yay! :headbang:
No, this isn't the problem. I have it in the USB2 slots (tried the others to be safe, it doesn't even try to boot off the USB stick in the other slots).
