<< Solved >> Strange issue on Mojave, Can't preview JPGS

Just to update, It was a headless problem, but it wasn't because I was using dedicated alongside integrated... I was only using integrated and was using the wrong Mac model... I was using iMac 14.1 and everything works fine now I switched it to Mac Mini 6.1... Just tested it with a few of my...

Minimal Mac Pro 4.1 Mod in 4K [updated]

The clear plastic cover never got used... Too much depth lost when putting new stuff in... Mounting it, I used steel putty on all the standoffs, and although it doesn't look great if the MB is off, it is invisible once installed... Was so much easier to get everything lined up at the back with...

<< Solved >> Strange issue on Mojave, Can't preview JPGS

Everything on this build works fine, Z77N-WIFI with 3570k and 16gb ram, only using the 4000 integrated, as it's essentially just my media player and server now... One very strange thing though, If I have a PDF, a PSD, A PNG or a GIF on the desktop or in a folder, space to preview works fine...

Minimal Mac Pro 4.1 Mod in 4K [updated]

Fantastic build... I did something very similar with a 3.1 Mac Pro and a 2.5 G5. I have to say it was easier doing the G5, as I could run all the cables I wanted from the bottom of the case where the 1000W psu was supposed to be, and the G5 case was a lot easier to strip out... Never got the...

[SOLVED] How do I get a full High Sierra download and not a 19mb one?

Thank you for your help, P1LGRIM, would just like to clarify though, and maybe Einzbern had this issue also... When i tried the High Sierra Patcher just to download the full install, Unibeast wouldn't acknowledge the resulting file as valid (It didn't show up in my OS options, but Sierra and El...

[SOLVED] How do I get a full High Sierra download and not a 19mb one?

This is something that has stopped me updating from El Capitan on both my Hackintoshes and can't seem to find a solution. Have tried downloading on both Hackintoshes (Both Gigabyte Z77n Wifi (with replaced wifi + BT to Airport extreme compatible cards) , both 3750's with one on intel graphics...

macOS Sierra is Now Available on the Mac App Store

I feel the same, I know Sierra is an easy upgrade, because it doesn't lose any features or compatibility from El Capitan. (which wasn't the case with Mountain Lion > Mavericks. I have updated both of my real Macs, and had no real world issues so far. Adobe CC, Microsoft Office, (I know lol) and...

Finally a working Mavericks compatible XBOX 360 controller driver!

Just a necro update to this thread. I was getting Kernel panics on El Capitan and Sierra (both real Mac hardware and my Hackintoshes) with the older "improved" 360 driver mentioned earlier in the thread whenever I unplugged the device from any USB port, so upgraded to this version...

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

This is puzzling me, I've got a 3570k and Z77 Wifi Board (with the atheros Wifi Card replacing the centrino) and Nvidia 660Ti, everything worked fine, including sound, and was installed using the no DSDT method outlined at the start of this thread. I upgraded to 10.8.2 as soon as I installed the...

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

Only if I set sleep to automatic. If I disable it in SP, and just let the monitor go to sleep, I can hit the power button for sleep, and wake the next day to the login screen by doing the usial keyboard slap/mouse wiggle. Even when I had issues before, I could still SSH into the machine, and...

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

The Mini Half Height PCI e card supplied is an Intel Centrino 630, (which is an integrated BT 4.0 and b,g,n Wifi) and it's not supported by OS X. If you don't mind resorting to a dongle for bluetooth, because bizarrely this card's bluetooth works out of the box on OS X, you can replace the...
