weirdly, with HDMI it's perfectly well behaved, I mean not sleep obviously but everything else is fine.
the DP is odd. it'll be fine and then all of a sudden it will just start flashing on and off for no reason, the screen that is.
Can anyone recommend a graphics card which behaves with...
im all up ad running now, but, after restart or sleep wake, the output from the display port is black. HDMI is fine, but that doesn't give me the 1440 resolution I want.
now I am using a dell ultrasharpe and I've used my mini DP to DP cable form my MBP, but turned it the other way...
ok, switched the Asus z170 pro for a gigabyte z170 gaming 5, and its much simpler to set up and get working.
Anyway, I'm having this weird flickering black artefact at the top right of my screen, its not worth taking a pic of and putting up, it doesn't effect performance or anything that I can...
this is the only thing i can think of, (but why would it work, then not) im using some corsair vengeance DDR4 3000 RAM. i mean its been automoaticaly tuned down to whatever it is. But could this have caused an issue?
boot screen by aspen posted Feb 13, 2017 at 8:51 AMHi All,
normally i don't have an issue with this stuff but this has me thinking i have a hardware issue,
all fine on the install, just changed bios to Other OS and that is about it.
ran multi beast, 3 times trying to get audio to be recognized...
it's under system profiler - about this mac then more info then system report, go to SATA.
The new big cat is so flakey and unstable, i went to work, just cam eback, booted up and it just sits there with a spinning apple boot screen :(
1). enter bios, make sure on board graphics are enabled (don't remove the PCI card)
make sure device is set to auto
2). plug the monitor into the on board graphics port. And nothing else.
3). install ML using unibeast and when you have your system up and running after multi...
ok so im up and running,
Z77 DS3H - I7 3770K - 16GB 1600MHz Ram - HD6870
works fine, icloud and app store etc, but has anyone noticed the following issues?
1). Geekbench under 10.7.4 was well over 15200, now it's 14,800, ok not massive, but it's step back not a leap...
If you have had the same issue as me, with the installation as soon as you click USB at chameleon boot screen, the apple logo appears and it goes through to a white screen and a working, usable mouse pointer and that is it.
My system is a Z77-Ds3H 3770K CPU. Not sure if it affects any others...
I have the same board, 3770k, and everything works except after the computer sleeps, either way, manually or by a timed sleep due to inactivity, upon wake up, no USB.
I have to pull out the apple keyboard USB cable and plug it back in to gain functionality.
Any ideas? :banghead:
