I'm sure I'm not the only one with a real Mac who's been plagued with the graphics bug and others probably reported it to NVIDIA. That being said, do you have a link to where I could report it? Might as well give it a "last" go before purchasing another card. Thx.

I did not. I'm not using the NVIDIA web driver and don't want to either. On a Mac Pro and Sierra, the 660 was plug and play and I never had any issues. When I tried it with High Sierra, it was a mess. Btw, I don't think NVIDIA will or CAN fix this problem. They would have by now if they could.

I do have a Mac Pro and sent multiple tickets and got no response. Apple has no interest in fixing the issue with the 660 or any other card affected.

Thanks for your input, Jamesbond007. I've had much success with a GTX660 in Sierra on my Mac Pro and I was hoping the RX560 will give me the same result using Sierra and High Sierra. I understand that most of the posts on this thread is based on hackintosh computers. I guess I'll just have to...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was told that High Sierra and Sierra won't require Lilu and WhateverGreen kexts on my Mac Pro 2009 computer (updated processor from 8 core to 12, firmware to 2010) with an installed RX560 card. Is that correct? I'm looking for a card that doesn't require any system...

Thanks for your input. I'll look into the 760 as well although I believe the Sapphire Pulse RX560 is probably what I'll end up with, according to people who have had success with it.

Can someone please add any of the cards that are not affected with this issue... meaning right out of the box, you install and that's it? Thx.

It seems the issue with the 660 card will never be fixed. Would have happened by now. Can anyone recommend a card, I'm not a gamer, around $100 that will fix this problem on an early 2009 Mac Pro (although upgraded to 2010 5,1 and 8 core to 12)? Thanks.

Hi Brianm801, thanks for the info... when it comes to this sort of stuff, I'm a little green. Where does one get the lilu.kext and whatevergreen.kext files and driver for the 560? I'm running a Mac Pro 2009 (firmware updated to 5,1) so I'm assuming this will work.

Thanks for the info, leonhong. Really appreciate it... So regardless of the Mac one would own, the RX580 or even the 560 will also work, correct? Also, assuming Apple fixes the graphics bug with the 660, will the modified info work as well?
