MechSoup, Thank you very much for your response. I'll be getting the LGA 1155 cpu/mobo combo as you suggested. Like you said, it's better to have native sleep, power management, etc. Yes, I'm willing to overclock the 3770K. Thanks again, I learned something new today. -limey
