Well, it's a laptop though...
But yeah, it's fine and all in Windows, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
Oohh.. is that really relevant to this problem? Well, I'm currently on the default region. Let me change it a bit.
Edit: even after changing the region to #a (that people said should...
So I got a graphic issue (like display flickering or something? and laggy when using photoshop) when using dark theme on Mojave, it was fine when I disabled it with
defaults write -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance -bool yes so I got to have pre-Mojave dark theme.
So is this mojave's issue or...
Seems like lots of people are having problem with BCM94352Z, like the mouse will be laggy occasionally if you connect to 2.4Ghz wifi. From what I got in a certain reddit thread, the bluetooth and the wifi don't seem like recognised as one entity, instead they're recognised as separate hardwares...
... I refrain from doing that. I honesty forget all patches that I applied there, and it would be messed up if I removed it.
The goal is to have USBX0 in ioreg, right? Then somehow I managed to do it.
So I should just get some default kusb* from the internet, and paste it to the SSDT-UIAC? I did it, and it still doesn't show the USBX0 in ioreg. I still can't grasp the understanding about the USBX, sorry.
Is there anything missing? I can't find the usbx in ioreg despite using usbinjectall kext and all.
Edit: After lurking around in page 20s, since I didn't find usbx and used 13,2. I should just use EH0 -> EH patch, right?
I suggest you to change the bcrmfirmwaredata to the repo one. It's supposed to run better with the latter since repo is intended to be placed in s/l/e (though somehow it works fine if you put it in l/e nevertheless). In my case, my bluetooth mouse feels laggy occasionally if I use the data one...
Ah at last I truly see, so that's why it isn't working. I was trying to fix the bluetooth on 10.13.6 too, and after seeing your posts there (Bluetooth not working after update to 10.13.6) then tried it myself, it's working now.
Thanks, I guess.
Hi, rehabman, sorry for bothering you again.
Sometimes my kexts on s/l/e and l/e wont load for some reasons and I need to rebuild the kext cache again and again. Do you know some causes of this problem?
I don't think this is worth enough to make a thread for, so I'm just asking here to be honest.
For wifi replacement, do you need to unlock your bios?
I happen to have the similar model, albeit it's the skylake i7 version. I want to replace the wifi, however I heard you need to remove the whitelist first before replacing the wifi card.
I meant the toggle to disable my touchpad. Sometimes the toggle works, sometimes the toggle doesn't work. And now somehow it's working using your kext now. Weird...
Well, never mind. Forget what I was asking.
I shouldn't had posted that though..
Hi rehabman, sorry for bothering you again.
I used to use smarttouchpad kext as my keyboard kext, however I'm trying to change it to this kext.
Using smarttouchpad (though certain user modified it), I can disable my touchpad (sometimes work sometimes doesn't, I don't know what causes this)...
Yeah sorry if my wording there is messy. My fn+F5 is basically just F5, so I want to change the shortcut to command+R without using BetterTouchTool to remap it.
Ah I see, then BetterTouchTool or other alternatives is the only way to produce my desired result then for the time being.
Hi Rehabman, sorry for bothering you again.
I want to ask something, can you remap the fn-key from F5 to command+R in voodooPS2? Both of them are for reloading the web, but Safari doesn't use F5 for that instead it only uses command+R.
Or do I unfortunately stuck with app like BetterTouchTool?
