I just downloaded MB 5.0.2.. In the menu I chose USB 3.0, and continued the installation and did a reboot (nothing else)..
USB 3.0 still not working..
BTW, I have installed a few USB 3.0 drivers that didn't work before..
So, how to solve the USB 3.0?
Currently my ML system is running perfectly.. I used the old MB when I installed..
The only thing that does not work is my USB 3.0 card, which was working on Lion..
Did multibeast 5 fix the issue?
If so, what do i have to do?
thanks, but I did try it.. It shows the "Super Drive" in System Information, but when I connect my WD USB 3.0 hard drives they do not show up.. Sometimes the "Extra drive-Unlock drive" shows up but does not respond..
I fixed the issue by installing this kext (AppleRTC Pached 10.7.4 - Downloads - OSx86.net) which actually is AppleRTC for 10.7.4, I installed it using Kext Helper if you were wondering..
Weirdly enough, the PC is super faster!
thnx for the tips guys..

Anyone you can find?
I am in real need of USB 3.0 right now.
LaCie's USB 3.0 adapter uses the small PCI express port, which my motherboard supports.
The only question is, if I buy it, will I be able to run it on my Hackintosh? what about on Mountain Lion?
Well, I was able to format it using Windows, the normal way.. It is working NTFS and everything is fine.
When I format it in Mac OS X it gives me the same error, and goes back to unformatted state!
Besides, i didn't notice much speed difference, maybe because my motherboard only supports SATA 3...
you will certainly be able to upgrade to ML from Lion without a fresh installation.
Just download the App from the App store, run it, and you're in ML!
But, since we use Hackintoshs, the way to upgrade will be posted in the day of the release.
But, yeah, you will certainly be able to...
I just bought an SSD, I plugged it in, and installed Lion on in using UniBeast. The installation finished successfully, but when I try to boot using the UniBeast USB stick, it gives me a kernel panic with the error message "No HPETs available, CPU configured incorrectly" then it says...
