Read this section - Problems with Kaby Lake Graphics
You may need a patched EDID for your graphics to work. I'm not sure what else to try on your end.
Start with a clean install of Mojave and use this config.plist to boot from.
You'll need the latest of the following kexts in kext/Others -
I checked a while back on Windows and only saw the touchscreen as I2C.
Looks like what I said earlier about the keyboard and mouse is true. It's only PS2.
I reverted my changes back to the previous two debugs listed.
I can't figure out why the touchpad works on some boots and other boots it...
Bumping this one, could anyone take a look at the two debugs provided?
No configurations were changed, on one boot my touchpad was working and on reboot or sleep/wake not working.
I just looked at my DSDT, there is a device as TPD0, however, it doesn't show up in my IOReg.
Download and Install the latest VoodooPS2Controller.kext from https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-voodoo-ps2-controller/downloads/
Documentation is here - https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller
Update - I have intermittent issues with the touchpad/trackpad being properly enabled by ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext.
I'm using the latest version being v4.7b5 and it's working great.
From the logs, it seems that it detects the mouse pad and attempts to enable it.
It even prints that it's...
Install them into /Library/Extensions.
You'll need VoodooI2C and a Satellite kext.
I don't know what trackpad you have but I'd give VoodooI2CHID a try as the satellite kext.
The documentation for installation will tell you what DSDT patches to apply and such.
There's a chance you may need to do...
Take this configuration againhttps://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD615_620_630_640_650.plist
Try with boot arg lilucpu=7 instead of 9 and Inject Intel as true.
Set Inject ATI and Nvidia as false.
This should at least allow you to enter the OS to run...
After some debugging, I was able to see that the touchpad was detected and enabled.
The X and Y coordinates were off somehow but managed to test that it actually works.
I performed an EC reset and that managed to solve my problem.
I got my touchpad to work + multigestures on an ELAN touchpad...
Okay, boot into the OS in whichever way and use Hackintool to generate a config.plist for you for graphics.
It's on the Patch tab at the very top. There are some options to select. I'd suggest the DeviceProperties patch option.
That will spit out an output for you to try on your config.plist...
I don't have many options available in my BIOS so that one unforunately is out of the question.
Looking at a Linux dump, seems that the touchpad is PS/2 according to this -
I: Bus=0011 Vendor=0002 Product=000e Version=0000
N: Name="ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"
This is unrelated but add HFSPlus.efi to your Drivers64UEFI.
VBox64 (or whatever it's called) gets automatically disabled with this config.
I've attached a new config.plist for you to try.
Install, reboot, and let me know how it goes.
How's the user inferface look when selecting a WiFi network?
Post some screenshots if you can, I'm curious to see how it looks.
I just got a Asus AC53 Nano for about $30 and works great. Got 200 Mbps Down/Up on a 5.0Ghz network.
The drivers from their site comes with a nice almost native...
No, those wouldn't affect graphics.
Have you properly rebuilt kext caches/permissions using some sort of utility?
Attach your config.plist with a working config where you are able to boot into the MacOS.
Only use USBInjectAll.kext, no need for GenericUSBXHCI.kext.
Download the latest kexts from here -
Try this config to boot -
Edit the graphics injections to false for ATI, NVIDIA, and Intel.
Nice job on getting everything working.
I’d recommend getting the ASUS AC53 Nano WiFi USB. It’s super small.
The drivers are on ASUS’s website and it works great on Mojave 10.4.5 for me and surprisingly has a nice native looking UI with great speeds.
I managed to get 200-300 Mbps down/up on...
Just took a look, seems like the only other kext you're possibly missing is USBInjectAll.kext.
Your config.plist should be something out of RehabMan's laptop config repo that matches your specs.
Based on your specs, this one seems the most likely to work -...
I'm having an issue with my touchpad.
I have the latest VoodooI2C + VoodooI2CHID + VoodooPS2Controller kexts installed.
Currently, my I2C touchscreen works PERFECTLY. I only applied the GPI0 Controller Enable [SKL+].
I looked at my GPI0 pinnings and determined that no additional...
