Just brought a Dell Latitude 5290 Tablet i5-8350U/8GB/256GB SSD second hand off ebay (hope there's no issues).
I'm going to try to hackintosh it as I find web browsing in the ipad a complete ball ache!
The issue was when I updated my bios, it changed how the IGPU and DGPU was set up. I only have 2 options now.
primary set to PEG and enable multiple monitors.
Ran through the Hackintool again and had to re-tweak it but it's all finally working again.
There's a post on here which how to change the card on most wifi equipped motherboards But you need to remove the integrated shield first which our motherboards have. If I recall there is a clip on either side.
Currently using 2 keyboards for my hack and windows dual boot. Cant get my magic keyboard to work on both due to a pairing issue from what I have read and the mapping is wrong on windows. Also I have to have it wired to change which OS I wish to use.
For the mouse I am using the Logitech...
I thought about this at the weekend and it will be a waste of time as my setup is somewhat different to yours i.e. I dont use the on board graphics.
You are better off following the guide I mentioned. I know there is a learning curve to it but it will be worth it.
Ill try to do it this weekend but you'll be missing certain kexts in the L/E folder. So your better off following that guide mentioned in #36. it will help you understand how things work and also any future hacks.
Cant see why that would not work But if I was you I would start all over again. On my build I must of re-installed it several times.
You can drag n drop your kexts to the clover->kexts->other folder but the for the L/E (library->Extension) folders which are to do with the system then they need...
