The main issue is that there is a boot glitch that makes a dot array on the top and the Apple logo is divided...
You can paste those lines on a new file, name it tp.sh, for example.
chmod +x tp.sh < to add exec permissions
You can move it to /usr/bin, and then add a LaunchDaemon, using LaunchControl (you can download it for free to do that)
I fixed it, there are a lot of _GPE that were messing my ACPI (WTF, why the hell there are GPEs for checking rotation lock?) I deleted all of them and now I have a smooth macOS, good battery life (actually reports about 1h with 24%, and I think it can be improved, because my actual SMBIOS...
Already did, only FakeSMC and it doesn't fix.
Uhm... I was thinking about the SD Card reader, I don't even know if it works, I don't even use it, I'm not sure if it would make any issue with this.
What do you think about it?
I think that a solution is possible, I don't know...
I was thinking about DVD drive or the Intel WiFi+BT card (bluetooth is intermittent, sometimes appears to be working, the next boot it doesn't).
Also, my DSDT/SSDT includes a lot of ****, from 3x PEG devices (actually I think they are for...
Did a new USB.
Did a fresh install.
After install, kernel_task stays at 60%, well, I think I will let it settle down a little, because Spotlight might be indexing, etc...
Installed only FakeSMC and VoodooPS2.
But I think the issue is still there, it's been about 30min (and I have no data there...
Kingston V300 240GB here, how do I apply that patch?
I downloaded from App Store on my desktop that has El Capitan, used Unibeast from this forum to make Sierra's installer.
May I download it again from this laptop and make a new USB with Unibeast?
Well, deleted everything. Only left FakeSMC and USBInjectAll.
No EnergyDriver for Intel Power Gadget.
No Ethernet driver.
Not even PS2 driver.
Nothing. Just FakeSMC and USBInjectAll.
Kernel_task keeps the same.
I attach you the ioreg and kextcache update output, and clover as well...
I will try only with USBInjectAll, FakeSMC without plugins and VoodooPS2 (or even without it, I can use a USB Keyboard+touchpad)
But it's a fresh install, I don't know what I did wrong... :S
Also, DTrace shows a lot of ACPI calls, I'm not sure if it's directly related to ACPI or if it's the...
I'm using DTrace tools and I get A LOT of calls from AppleACPIPlatform, some say there is a problem with AHCI/SATA that is the guilty of the high CPU usage.
You told me to delete "Drop tables" but you mean the "CpuPm" and "Cpu0Ist" or you mean "Drop OEM Tables"?
I think if I don't drop OEM...
So not needed.
Okay, that's all.
Thanks for being so patient.
I'll fight with OS X to know what's wrong with kernel_task :P
I'm not sure at all, but I have some problems with OsxAptioDrv and "Allow Unrestricted NVRAM"
On another computer I can boot with 0x3 on the "System Integrity Protection"...
On your Laptop patches repo there is a HD4400 patch.
I have working graphics perfectly, but sometimes I get a weird texture glitch on the transparency, I'm not sure if this patch fixes something, if I should apply it (so I can remove FakePCIID) or if I don't need it.
