Hi, everyone.
I am using a 27" monitor with resolutions 2560 x 1440.
I found that the tonymac boot screen is not fit, the icons looks fat, and out of proportion for my screen/monitor.
Something wrong for the tonymax boot screen.
Kindly see the attachment "boot-screen.jpeg" for refer.

Before was perfect and good looking for using 27" 1920 x 1080 resolution screen.
Anyone has this issue?
How to fix it?
Any solutions?

Questions:
  1. Which resolution are you using/specifying in the Clover config.plist?
  2. What resolution does the Clover Bootlog say is the maximum supported during the boot process?
  3. Are you using any drivers in your Clover setup that enable your system to use a higher resolution during the boot process?
Post a copy of your Clover EFI so we can see which drivers you are using. Make sure you delete/redact the serial number from your config.plist before you post a copy here.

Confirm the following:
  • Nvidia card used.
  • Connection type and cable used.
  • Version of macOS in use.

Hi, @Edhawk
For No. 1, refer to the attachment for Screen Shot 1.
For No. 2, refer to the attachment for Screen Shot 2.
For No. 3, No driver for Clover setup. Only Boot arg for dart=0 and nada_drv=1

Confirmed the following:
Nvidia GTX GPU / Sapphire Nitro+ GPU
HDMI cable.
High Sierra, latest version.

Clover Info:
iMac14,2

Monitor:
27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440)

Any solutions for this issue?

Hi there.

So other members can help you, please complete your Hardware Profile:

You state Z170 motherboard - Make and model required.
You state Intel i5 - Model number required.
You state Nvidia - Make and model required.

This is a basic part of the Site Rules and makes it easier for people to suggest solutions as the side-bar follows each post.

No Zipped EFI folder or boot-log info supplied as @Edhawk requested. Only what looks like a screen grab from config.plist and Clover Configurator.

Unusual, I have not seen the "nada_drv=1" boot-argument before. What does it do?

:)

why not change the resolution to 2560 x 1440 in your config.plist?

(also no need to inject Intel)

@Feartech
You mean update the Screen Resolution from 1920x1080 to 2560 x 1440?
Will this sure work Tonymac Boot Screen?

I have tried and updated using 2560 x 1440 in the config.plist, however nothing change.
Still remain as same.

You probably need to add the EmuVariableUefi.efi driver to enable Clover to use a higher resolution when showing the GUI and boot screens.

I would recommend you look in your Clover bootlog to see which is the highest available resolution, before and after adding the EmuVariableUefi.efi driver to your setup.

Anyone is able to figure-out how to fix this tonymac boot screen resolution for my monitor screen 2560 x 1440?
