Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

I could probably do some testing on this front as I have a TB3 monitor and dock, as well as a few TB 1/2 devices.
I have a some questions before I do. I'm currently on BIOS 2103 with no known issues. If I upgrade to BIOS 2204, that will upgrade to the NVM 36 in question, correct?
For those with knowledge, please confirm-
  1. I can still downgrade back from BIOS 2204 to BIOS 2103 and NVM31 with the available 9901 BIOS.
  2. Do I need to update the ME chip in Windows?
  3. Will the ME chip be downgraded with the NVM firmware, or does it stay at upgraded version?
  4. Does the ME firmware have any bearing on the BIOS/NVM issues we're seeing in MacOS?
Devices I can test with:
TB3 UltraFine 4K
CalDigit TS3 Plus
Apple TB3/2 adapter
Apple TB2 Ethernet
Lacie external TB2 SSD's
Seagate TB1 GoFlex Adapter (SRD0001)
OWC Envoy Express (TB3)
ME cannot be rolled back via the MEUpdateTool.

With this latest version, I'm able to view temperature of my RX 6900XT in iStatistica Pro now. I hadn't tried it since early January, in which the kext build date was from November I believe.
I still can't get my GPU to show in iStatistica properly. It shows as the following;

Also using the latest RadeonSensor kexts.

DP as shown;

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I think now Intel Thunderbolt is involved and apparently there’s a new NVM41 for Maple Ridge. I haven’t tried that.
Tempting.. But don't want to risk it if i can't roll back :/

Guys just wanted to give you a heads up might not be for Z690 but on Z790 with the latest BIOS looks like Asus did something that causes the system to lockup, constant kernel panics, constant finder crushes, went back to version lower and its all smooth sailing (except sleep). Just wanted to warn you to be careful.
0816 version?!

I
Sabzz make sure RadeonSensor.kext is loading before SMCRadeonGPU.kext
It is, still nothing.

At some stage I remember commenting out the audio DP - this;

And the GPU showed up correctly in iStatistica (without the RadeonSensor kexts).
Although my machine started playing up and eventually locked up 10 mins in, so i reverted back.

Does that make any sense to you?

The only way I've been able to get my 6900 XT gpu to show up in iStatistica Pro was to either remove ALL the items in device properties or comment them ALL out with "#". I was able to get it without the Radeon sensor kexts, but for me, the new release of the kexts allows the temperatures to show up.

I may be out of luck as i need to spoof my card for it to work.. (73AF XTXH). Well, the temperature shows up with Radeon sensor kexts, just doesn't show the VRAM usage or the actual card model itself.. I suppose i'll live with it.

Thanks

Yeah, it's one of those things I accepted for about a year until I stumbled upon the device properties fix. Not a big deal. Could you spoof it with an SSDT?

To be honest, I haven't tried with any specific 6900 SSDT.. I am using a BRG0 SSDT in my EFI though. Perhaps I could try that approach and see if it changes anything?
