Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Can I ask if this would work with the 6900 XTXH variant? I know I need the Device ID to spoof the card but unsure if I can remove everything else. LOL

In Big Sur it recognized it in iStatistica Pro without a problem; in Monterey 12.6.2 it shows as Realtek ALC-S1220A.

Added the RadeonSensor 0.3.1 kexts and no luck. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.
I recently discovered if I remove all device properties from OpenCore config, iStatistica Pro will recognize my 6900XT properly, without RadeonSensor kexts. That's how I've been running my system for the last few weeks, and I have not experienced any issues as a result.

Tried this, no luck. I didn't even expect it to boot after I commented out the GPU device property but it did. Colouring was all out of whack, and you could tell the machine struggled. But it booted with the XTXH variant no spoof.

On another instance I commented out the Audio device property and booted. iStatistica then showed my GPU correctly, but not long after the OS starting falling apart (finder stopped responding) to the point where I had to hard reset it.

Any other ideas how I can get this working?

Thanks

@Sabzz ...but it booted with the XTXH variant no spoof.

I would expect it to boot. The new 7900 XTX will also, the main thing is whether the graphical acceleration, Quartz Extreme and Metal 3, like with Apple supported video cards is present. The spoof .aml main purpose is get that. Do you get that without the help of a spoof aml file? In the Hackintool app under system you can easily see that.
Not without it. No, only with it.

I'm having some screen freezes on my machine. Computer still working but the video freezes..
It's not all the time, but happening when watching a Netflix or playing on x-plane 11/12.
Nothing has been change except OC to the latest one...if no video demand i.e desktop or other softwares then ok. Only happens on video demand...strange....Any suggestions.
OS Ventura latest update...
thank you

I'm running X-Plane 11 and 12 on latest Monterey and I'm not experiencing any issues. Was it an upgrade to Ventura or was it a clean install? Might make a difference. While I have latest Ventura on a partition, I have not tested out X-plane yet and probably won't until I upgrade my main drive.

It was an upgrade from Monterey to Ventura. But on XP11 was not happening at first... I wonder if something related to the OC settings could affect the video...But I been looking everywhere and couldn't find anything. Looks like if running after start the computer no freeze...Still looking into the possible cause.

@CaseySJ Is there a way to install Catalina on this hardware..... I have the same setup except for I went with a i9 13900kf and a Rx 6600 XT, but the problem I'm having is my uad firewire is not supported in Monterey. It shows that my firewire card is working and it shows everything including the uad 2 . But with what I'm reading online uad discontinued the use of firewire with their software starting with Big Sur. And what I am seeing is that it's only compatible up to Catalina. I literally just got the thing maybe last year I would hate to lose all the plugins. The unit I bought was not transferable.... But the original owner left everything authorized for me to use as long as I want...... Do you think I would have a good chance using multi beast and uni beast?

@Lurkhackwalker

You really need to learn to do the research of what's compatible before you buy any hackintosh hardware. I know for certain the 6600XT can only work with Monterey or newer. Whether you can hack your way to installing Catalina on a Z690 chipset, and 13th gen CPU IDK but it doesn't sound like a good idea even if you could pull it off.

The oldest hardware with full native Catalina support is tenth gen Intel Z490 chipset. If you have to install Catalina, that's your best option. Those motherboards are still available. Takes some searching.

Read this for further understanding of what hardware works with which macOS version.

I assume you mean on another machine running Catalina?

Can I ask what UAD audio interface you're running?
