Dell Precision 5820 - Xeon w2125

Booting 0.8.4 , will move to 0.8.7 when last couple of items are sorted.
Can you explain what worked for emulated nvram . I think my cpu naming issue is due to having less than 8 cores but will try this anyway.
And what fixed sleep wake , just ssdt-gprw
Have instant wake , hadn't mapped internal usb header as don't need it .
With header mapped no change.

Hi,
I have studied your EFI and used it to complete Dell T7820 with Ventura 13.2.1
Xeon Platinum 8249C, 192 Gb 2666, RX590 8Gb, Fenvi 919, 2 x 1Tb Nvme on Dell dual PCI-NVME adapter.
Everything works (sleep/wake)
Only minimal still to fix:
1) Audio: I'm using alcid=31 but output is detected as headset. Is it the same also on 5820? I have internal speaker and build in output I would like to activate.
2) SD reader working fine: it is not shown on System Info. Tried RealtekCardReaderFriend and GenericCardReaderFriend but both kext are not showing System Info. Any fix or map?

Any help appreciated.
Thanks

It may be that the Dell motherboard needs a custom layout. @CaseySJ has documented the procedure.

I'll study it to see what I can do.
In the meantime I found out that alcid=12 is working much better. Built in Output and Headphone are showing separately. Built in Microphone is also showing. I have to test Headset and Microphone to confirm working correctly.

Hi @vedovatod I'm working with a Dell T7820 machine. Could you share your EFI if possible?

Thanks!
