[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Z590 VISION D + 11700K + RX 6600 XT

Updated my Ventura Beta to Ventura. Checking my Apps under Ventura for compatibility before I update my Main System (Monterey).

What works now;
-Onboard Bluetooth using BrcmPatchRAM.kext and BlueToolFixup.kext
-Onboard Wifi using AirportItlwm.kext for Ventura
-Audio
-My Vega 56 GPU

Using OpenCore 0.8.5 and all of the updated kexts.

P.S. I love Stage manager, I thought it would be it the way, but it's not. I find it interesting, pressing the apple + tab key you go to last used app or window. Holding the apple key and then use the tap to choose the which app to be active, or use the mouse to activate the window on the right. Notice everything on the desktop is gone (Folders, drives etc). Press on the desktop the active windows dissappear and you see your desktop stuff again. Press the mouse on desktop again and your last active windows is back desktop disappears. Drag an image to the desktop, desktop shows again. Dragging a file from your desktop to your folder is a little harder now. Drag your file to your left of the screen and the windows show up, hold until the window pops up.

Another think I like is the show path of file, app etc. Click on a file or app, then hold the option key, you will see the path to that object.

Notice, the desktop folder are all grouped together on the Stage Manager, which means drag and drop between folders is easy as ever.

Hi @tsanko.dimitrov do you think I can use the files you have shared to install Monterrey on my custom Hackintosh (I currently have Big Sur.... my hardware: Motherboard: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G (Ver 1.0) CPU: i7-11700K GPU: GTX680)... Best regards

your nvidia is not supported

Howdy all - I was able to get this EFI to work with my rig with some very minor changes. (I am using 20,2)
Currently running Ventura.
I cannot get sleep to work. I get a kernel panic then "Failed Power Play Resume. Shutting back down." upon reboot.

I read that this could be due to the Apple video driver and that I shouldn't let my computer sleep. Some people are hoping this gets resolved in an update.

Anyone running Ventura and able to sleep?

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff7f980610a4): "[3:0:0][PPLIB] Failed Power Play Resume. Shutting back down. TTL Error Message: {2679082731225:[3:0:0] Error PSP: event_id=0x100211 event_info:type=3 hw_id=0 event_specific_tag=0x2 pData=0 data_size=0 [FW] psp_bootloader_load: failed...

UPDATE: It seems as though my DVMT was set too high. It seems to want 128 mb or lower.

Hi all, especially @tsanko.dimitrov,

I'm curious whether the FL1100 chipset for USB cards is still supported in the latest Monterey and/or Ventura, before I make a purchase.

Is it plug&play? Does it need USBToolMap? Do ports work fully (as in: any device), or only for keyboard/mouse kind of devices? I read the latter somewhere.

Thanks in advance

Hi there! I bought recently Z590 Vision D with integrated TB4 and I see, that TB section shows "No hardware was found" instead of "No drivers are loaded". Is that ok for this setup or I missed something? Machine ID is iMac20,2 and migrated from ASUS Z490-E with Titan Ridge AIC.

On my rig, in the BIOS, TB4 is disabled by default. You might also need a driver which I believe is included in some of the EFIs.

I don't have any devices that would work so I have never played with it but be sure it is "ON" in your BIOS.

Thanks for the answer!

Yes, it ON in BIOS, also I connect XDR display to it, and it seemed to work somehow. I also added maple ridge SSDT, but nothing has changed.

Onboard TB controller is not flashed of course, but I think I should see "No drivers were found" at least instead of "no hardware".

Hi guys, I switch from Z490 Vision D to Z590 Vision D, so I just changed the EFI folder in my SSD with the last posted in the main page (the 0.8.0) and I was be able to boot up the system but unfortunately all my USB ports are not working so I cannot type the pw or move the mouse etc. I've tried to activate the USBInjectAll kext but it didn't worked. Also Windows can't boot if I pass through Opencore. Anyone can help? Thank u very much

Try using the USBmap.kext from the newest EFI posted at the start of this thread and work your way from there with Hackintool to make your own map if you want it to be different. Don’t use any of the UIAC.aml files in the ACPI > Add if you use the USBmap.kext. You use either the kext or the aml, not both.

Use these instructions to get a bootable Windows icon in the OpenCore boot menu:

Did that just yesterday and it worked like a charm :)
