Gigabyte B550 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + AMD RX 5600 XT

@CaseySJ, how? Reinstall OC all together?
I want to be able to still run latest Big Sur in case avb doesnt work.
Simply post your config.plist with serial numbers removed from PlatformInfo and I can update the kernel patches. The patches are still compatible with Big Sur.

@CaseySJ That helped. I get a progress bar but then it freezes. I toggled the SecureBootModel, no luck...we're getting closer. I disabled my LAN port but that didn't help. How do I get in Verbose mode in OpenCore 0.8.5 to take a photo for you? Should I pull my Asus 10G card out?

Thanks.

We can press and release CMD-V at the OpenCore boot picker before selecting a boot drive.

@CaseySJ getting a magic number doesn't match 0x152dc0000, I Googled it and says installer is bad. I wiped the drive re-downloaded Ventura, and it still hangs...Any ideas? I also have a third entry in my OpenCore bootload.. Maybe I have an extra installer cache somewhere that I need to clean? Not sure I know how to clean out a old installer.

@CaseySJ Any thoughts on my situation? Mabey just make a new install key?
Apologies for the delay. Have been tied up debugging my AMD AM5 Ryzentosh...

Please press and release CMD-V at the OpenCore boot menu to enable verbose logs, then start the macOS installer. When the system freezes, simply post a photo of the screen (but remove GPS location from photo).

Hi @CaseySJ

I just wanted to ask a question before I upgrade to Ventura soon.

I'm getting kernel panics with the Titan Ridge card installed - if I remove the SSDT-TB-HackinDROM-B550-VISION-D and SSDT-DTPG from my EFI will that disable Thunderbolt in Monterey but leave it available ok for Windows when dual booting? Or should I just remove the card altogether to be on the safe side? Thanks.

We can simply disable those two SSDTs without actually removing them. However, they don't take effect in Windows, but only in macOS. So Windows should still work properly with Thunderbolt.
