@CaseySJ Hi! I got my Z390 working with Ventura, loaded pro tools on my hdx card and everything is great

I'm trying to update my other AMD system. When I get to the boot up screen, the installer freezes on my X570S AERO G....i upgraded my OC to 0.8.5.

Any thoughts on what to try ???

Avid makes carbon central so will see if my Asus 10g works. I have a back up now of Big Sur, but it's worth a shot on Ventura OS.

Please try reversing the current setting of SecureBootModel in config.plist. If it's currently enabled, try disabling it -- and vice-versa.

Oh, we need to update the kernel patches for Ventura.

Which version of OpenCore was your X570S system running before it was upgraded to 0.8.5?

Please post a screenshot of OpenCore Configurator --> Kernel --> Patch so we can check the patches. Feel free to post the config.plist with serial numbers removed from PlatformInfo. I can update the patches.

I went up to 0.8.5 on my flash key, and, before install, I have a backup 0.8.4 EFI on my drive..

Do you have any news on Asus 10g working on Ventura on AMD. I still will test it and probably archive the new system if it doesn't work in case a fix comes along....Pro Tools hdx is running fine on Ventura on my Intel system.

As suspected, those are the old patches. We need to update them for Ventura.
