Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Crap, Monterey!! Updating my post. Late night hacking after 2 kids in bed, sorry!
One quick thing:
  • If SecureBootModel is enabled, try disabling it, and vice-versa.

Hi @CaseySJ

I had a comment of mine in moderation but it disappeared, do you know why?

ok... I re-write everything again...

Any device with USB-C connection (no matter if they are USB3/3.1/3.2) connected the USB-C (HS09/SS09 for our Asus Z690 Pro Art) front port of my Fractal Define USB-C r6 case has got that strange behaviour you can watch in the zipped video attached. I tried at least 3 Usb-C to USB-C cables and the error is always present.

On the other hand same devices and same cables present no errors if I connect them to the back USB-C ports (actually TH4 ports) of the motherboard.

I tried also to connect them by the way of an adapter but the error is still present, so it's not the internal cable of my case. I've also tried the same devices with an USB-C to USB-A 3.0 cable (i.e. using SS07/HS07 or SS08/HS08 ports) and they do work normally.

So the only port affected is HS09/SS09.... any hints? TIA

UPDATE 1: loaded an image where you can see the "double" loading of the device, as shown in the video.

Here everything working except my Highpoint 3740 RAID card where I have everything stored.

I've tried everything, several slots, bios changes etc.

The drive is being loaded, it just isn't mounted and doesn't appear in the disk utility, which always appeared when I had my z390. It's very strange, could this be some SSDT or some PCI configuration in the EFI that could be blocking the mount?

I tested all SSDT, turning it on and off 1 by 1... nothing... But the card appears in the system report and is loaded.

I can't go to HighPoint because when they know it's Hackintosh, they refuse to give any information.

If anyone is having or has had a similar problem let me know.

Thanks.

Hi, every other things work? can share you EFI?

Hello @kingkong89 , Thanks for helping. @CaseySJ any suggestions for this problem?

I'm putting my EFI and the loading screen where we can see the problem, because it doesn't load properly.

Thanks.

@CaseySJ I can see macOS Ventura 13.0 available for download and install. Can we just do a standard upgrade from the OS and will it work?. Have OC 0.8.3 installed already. My hardware configuration is exactly similiar to yours?
