macOS Ventura is Now Available From the Mac App Store

Update succeeded, but Ethernet 2.5 Gb not working :( I tried specifying Full-Duplex (not the “flow-control“ one, and not the “energy-efficient-ethernet” one), which used to work under Monterey, but no luck under Ventura.
Mine too is not working. I just noticed it.
Solved by disabling the Device Properties associated with the i225.

You would have thought that I learned my lesson from being an early adopter of Monterey, and how that borked the 6900XT video drivers.

And yet ... I couldn't resist ...

Nevertheless, water seems fine. For now.

Will report back on any weirdness, but so far so good.

I don't know how long it took. The update was available through System Preferences, about 30 min after tonymac posted the news. I set it to update, then I had a couple of hr long meetings. By the time I returned, my Hack had updated, then went to sleep (it is set to sleep after 1 h of inactivity). So it must have taken about an hr or so.

I must report that, after logon, I have freezes probably due to the ton of apps I have installed being opened after logon.
Maybe xtrafinder or Little Snitch. Anyway I noticed these 2 things.
On the first boot the monitor was set to low blue mode which was never the case before. (Could be new WhatEverGreen?)
Also, it says I have no Internet while I have an Intel natively supported NIC.
I will leave it a while running. However it looks really frozen no cursor movement nothing.

EDIT: the freezes seemed to be caused byt LittleSnitch app so update or remove it before upgrade
Also i noticed no network as the Intel 82574L support has been dropped as stated here

All went smooth here, Open Core 0.8.3. As a former user of Clover and remembering the hackintosh from 8-10 years ago, these smooth updates from today are just unbelievable. It took some 20-25 minutes, few restarts, and looking good so far.

My freezes are random: sometimes on logon screen; sometimes few seconds after; sometimes few minutes after.
The Gigabyte Intel NIC shows it is connected, but no connectivity. It could be still Little Snitch, but I have no network in recovery, too.
I'll revert back to Monterey.

Managed without a heck. Updated OC to 0.8.4 and Kexts and All went fine. wifi/Ethernet/Bluetooth working/Display and second monitor. Can't say this upgrade was the most difficult!
