So I got the computer to boot and having better performance but It did restart after a few hours.

Which EFI folder did you use when your system ran for a few hours?

Also still having issues updating to Monterey 12.6

Can you launch Software Update from "About This Mac" or System Preferences?

The EFI I built which I basically copied the best parts from multiple EFI folders and put it all together and yes I can launch the software updater but when it gets to 5 minutes before restart to update it closes the program without turning off the computer. I currently have it on now running maintenance

Okay, congrats on getting it stable. Now to the problem. Have you tried adding swd_panic=1 and see if that helps?

Update, So it works and is stable and i updated it to MacOS 12.6 on Asus z690 Prime bios 1620, ive been doing tweaks and so far it seems great, no more restarts or crazy cpu activity, i even got the lights on gpu working and a Radeon Sensor kext to view temps on mac. is there a opencore checklist for mac that lets me see if theres anything else i need that i may be missing? ethernet works bluetooth works with a dongle wifi with the fenvi wifi pcie, airport works and finds iphones but wouldn't find my mb pro. what do you guys think i should check?

More Questions why doesn't bluetooth work on the Fenvi card? the Motherboard says it has thunderbolt 4 internally, can I use TB3 to attached a EGPU with another 6900xt inside to the Z690 or do i buy a titan ridge card, what about installing a second 6900XT GPU internally does mac allow that and will I be able to combine power for Video editing and Virtual Production? i am also making a new z690 guide for this motherboard based on what i've found and what i can pull together from internet.

Bluetooth on Fenvi requires a different set of kexts, namely those from BrcmPatchRAM Github. For Monterey we use BluetoolFixup, BrcmFirmwareData and BrcmPatchRAM3.

With regards to the 6900XT, yes you should be able to use both cards with macOS with the second card in a PCIe slot. For Thunderbolt we can use the Thunderbolt with SSDT-DTPG.aml and SSDT-TB3HP.aml. Connection via a eGPU box to another card is generally not recommended.

does anyone know how to change Monterey icon in about this mac in Monterey? old ways don't work anymore it looks like

For Thunderbolt we can use the Thunderbolt with SSDT-DTPG.aml and SSDT-TB3HP.aml. i added both and it still says no drivers installed

Thunderbolt is a lot trickier. Despite the System Profiler not showing it as installed, it does work so you can ignore it.
Plug in a device and test. Also use the port that is leftmost on the EX4 card.

Just Noticed another issue. I have my NVME in an Enclosure attached via USB c to B to the computer to boot and it works fine, and when I try to install the nvme in the computer and try to boot it says locked again but when I go back it works, what's the issue here? Is there a driver or kext missing?
