i Use Core 2 Duo Laptop and Desktop
Ok. Now you need to put that in your sig, on the left, where it is currently saying "Dell > Need system (not motherboard) full model name > See rules!"

Still running my 3770K Ivy Bridge, in Monterey. Every few years I upgraded the GPU. Right now running a 5700 XT. This machine works very well. I have a 10900K Z490 Vision-D in boxes here, just haven't had the time to build it yet. Looks like Ventura will not work on Ivy Bridge due to lack of AVX2 support. So the time is coming to finally open the boxes. Anyone know if OpenCore Legacy Patcher will bypass the AVX2 requirement? This Ivy Bridge system has been so reliable. Literally running this machine daily for 10 years now. Best Mac I have ever owned. I have stacks of old PowerMacs from the 90's and 2000's here I barely used for 3-4 years.

Gigabyte GA-H55-USB3 MB, Core i7-875K processor, GTX 670 video. Still doing great on Mojave (I need a number of 32-bit apps that will never be updated including using Firewire [built into this MB!] so it's never going to be upgraded past this anyway)

Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI - i7 4790 - 16GB DDR3 - GTX 660TI 3GB DDR5 - Mac Os Catalina - Opencore 0.8.4

Great to see these 10 year old builds still going well. In my case the ability to easily expand has greatly extended the useful life. I moved from HD4000 to RX 560 when I upgraded my TV to 2160p. I also added an additional 3TB HDD to complement the original 3TB HDD + 256 GB SSD.

Best "Mac" I've ever owned. It's not even close.
