Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Did the 5700XT ever connect to the Hack via the ADT-Link NVMe adapter?
- No. I have just tested. But in Windows 11 both my onboard Thunderbolt4 controller and New Titan Ridge 2.0 just works fine. I can see both 5700XTs via ADT link. I have tested them with Geekbench.

If you connect a NVMe SSD into the adapter, does the SSD appear?
-Never tried. I dont have spare nvme right now.

If you connect and power everything before booting the system, does that work?
-I have just realized, if i boot with egpus on i got black screen, monitor signal off. If i power on and plug later no issue but gpus not visible. Only thunderbolt section is just like i have posted before.

Exactly!
By the way i have just realized in my ioregistry, it says PC00. But in SSDT it says PCI0. Is it an issue?

Yes we need to change it to PC00. This should fix hot plug, but it may or may not help with the GPU. But it is something we should do and see what happens.

Attached version of SSDT uses PC00.

I replaced SSDT. Same issue. Right now it says Speed 40GB/s x1 (Previously was 20GB) Maybe a cosmetic issue.
Still no available GPU :banghead:

macOS sees the two ADT Link adapters, but not any devices attached to them. Are the GPUs and the ADT adapters properly powered?

Have you considered using an eGPU chassis such as PowerColor Gaming Station X or similar low-cost units? I think OWC has some affordable offerings in this space.

Another suggestion is to visit the eGPU.io forum by typing eGPU.io in the address bar of your web browser. Then search that site for the ADT model number you’re using. That website is devoted to all sorts of fascinating experiments in this area!

Here’s one of several related discussion threads in that forum:

Thanks for your help. I already checked eGPU forums. I believe it is a compatibility issue. Because on Windows everything works nicely

I am giving up
Will use Windows for renders.

Last question

I have just reflashed GC Titan from backup to it's stock state. I want to verify if I did the right thing?

In the guide, first step was this terminal command. After this command executed a file created in my user folder. I believe it is back up blue chip firmware.

sudo flashrom -p ch341a_spi -r Give_the_Contents_a_Name.bin

I copied a safe place before proceeding. I completed all the steps.

Because of giving up, I used same command to copy backup file to the chip. Then verified again.

Is it stock now?
Thx in advance.

Yes that should restore the original firmware. We can also check this by selecting System Information —> Thunderbolt. If it says “No drivers are loaded” that means original firmware is running.

Incidentally, I have a PowerColor Gaming Station X, which is a Thunderbolt expansion chassis with a x16 PCIe slot and internal power supply. My AMD GPUs work quite well when installed there and connected to a flashed Titan Ridge controller on the motherboard.

I have followed the guide exactly. On Windows ADT working good. It would be great if it worked. But i am out of ideas

Is it possible to share modified firmware for Gigabyte Titan Ridge 2.0 that you used. Maybe I used a wrong one?
