directly plugged is fine. instead the 9 pin header splitter not work in 11.6.6 update, Bluetooth keyboard can be use in opencore boot menu and windows, while boot up to Big Sur 11.6.6, the spiltter only provide front usb panel, bluetooth not working after bootup. it show bluetooth not available, with grey icon

Everything fine with splitter in 11.6.5
Try direct plug to header, work fine
Using internal usb hub - not ok, only front panel works
try clear nvram, work fine but after shut down, not working again
Try fresh install 11.6.6, still the same issue
try usb mapping the header to internal - 255 , no hope, still bluetooth grey out

It believe to be software AHCI problem with internal usb hub , any suggestion to try out ?

New 1440p monitor recommendation is this HP model. Costs less than the 4K LG previously listed.
Much better for gaming and also has HDMI 2.0 for 120Hz refresh rates in Windows.


Consider this Samsung model as well which sells for $230 currently. Limited to a 75Hz refresh rate.

Amazing deal at Newegg for a 3020 SFF with a 512GB SSD and 16GB of DDR3 ram. $120 for everything.
The SSD is worth at least $45 and the Ram $40. So for $35 you get the Core i5, motherboard, case and PSU.
It's difficult today to buy any good quality Mini-ITX or mATX case for under about $60 much less with a CPU, PSU and motherboard included. The seller even includes Wifi and a mouse and keyboard. A Windows 10 Pro license too.

I know you will say "Why update?" but I nevertheless tried updating OC to 0.8.2 and while OC itself works fine, I've got KP with AppleALC.kext 1.7.3, just like for my Z68.
AppleALC.kext 1.7.2 is ok.

Any idea what the difference is in this kext ? Why does 1.7.3 KP ?

Well, based on https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/releases, I'd say it's very likely "Added constants for macOS 13 support" that broke something, but I'm just guessing, Verbose is really helpless in this case...
