Can’t really believe it but Microsoft is finally saying goodbye to Internet Explorer or IE as it known to many after nearly three decades. From tomorrow onwards they will stop supporting the browser with updates and replace it with Edge.

I remember I had some of my very first experiences of building a webpage with IE and simple HTML text editors in the 90s back in the earliest days of the web. Those were the days.

Succeeded by Edge which is essentially just Chromium with a skin. Hopefully one day Windows is reduced to being just another Linux distro.
