I did. I'm using your EFI folder with the RTC aml in EFI/OC/ACPI. I can't get it to boot, it just hangs there.

I did get it to boot a few days ago using the Clover installation that Unibeast uses when making the USB stick, and put the kexts and patches from your EFI folder into the EFI partition.

Not a whole lot works (no GPU/Wifi/Sound), and it takes around 5 minutes to boot since somehow the letters on the -v post screen pop up one by one instead of whole lines.

Yes, it worked. Just read what I wrote.

Got it working, just had to download the Opencore configurator and add the RTC aml to the list of your config file in your EFI folder.

Sorry, first time doing this with Opencore

Graphics work now.

Have you got anything else working?

Sound is still missing, and the left/right mouse buttons of the touchpad also don't work.

iGPU - ok
Sound - ok
WiFi - you need to replace wifi card

Got a USB Dongle for WiFi, but can't get the sound or the touchpad buttons working.

Besides that there are 'minor' things that aren't working, like Card Reader, Camera, Battery Status and Brightness Controlls (it's stuck at a single brightness level)

Perhaps one day, i can get any of these to work, but if Sound and Mouse would word that would be swell.

It's very difficult to get any kind of technical info on the sound codec the board uses from HP, i think i'll install Windows on a USB drive to look for clues on the ALC audio codec.

Hi, i’ve installed mac os big sur with your last efi and the rtc patch. Is still work, but sound not working and the right and left click on the touchpad. Solution for this?

Just created my EFI folder from scratch with open core 0.75 following @k.kemic advices, but I can't install Catalina. After few minutes from installation the system reboots.

I tried also with BigSur, but it freeze during installation at the 13th minute.

Did you get the same issue and how you solve it?

My HP 250 g7: i5 8265U with Intel graphics 620 only and firmware 0.38 rev A.

Another question: there is a way to unlock the Advanced menu in BIOS?
I tried the Ctrl+F1, Ctrl+F10 and A+F10 tricks but didn't works.
