No Sound Asus B560M Plus Gaming + i7 11700K'F' + RX550

Hi All.. I think I've made mistake with my choosing hardware.

I've already installed Catalina 10.5.7 (19H1323) on this PC. (Asus B560M Plus Gaming + i7 11700K'F' + RX550)
And now, I'm facing a problem with the Audio (ALC897). Although HDMI Audio through RX550 is working fine.
I have use Layout id : 66 and 69, the volume icon seem fine.. But still no sound.

And another problem about the VDA Decoder, since the processor that I use is Gen.11 with 'F' series, will this problem be solved?

Anyone can help me?

Hi there.

Sadly there's no support as yet for either display output or headless decoding, with 11th gen CPUs. This might change but it hasn't yet.

As for Audio IDs, I used "66" for my ALC897 under an ASRock B560 itx. I guess you've tried it?

If that still fails, then check you have the latest version of AppleALC.kext. It that fails then try VoodooHDA.kext instead.

Hi.. Yes I have tried Audio ID 66 and 69 too.. Update AppleALC + Lilu, and tried the other version. but still no luck with the audio..

Yes I know, it's too early and there was a mistake in selecting this hardware..

My gigabyte Z590M with ALC 897 works very well. You need FakePCIID.kext, Fake PCII_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext
and of course ApleALC.kext with alcid=66 option.
Next Look at my device properties (device-id , layout-id) .
Attached all needed kexts .
