Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Hi @CaseySJ

After reading your suggestion (and Vit9696's, too) about the TRIM and the NVMe's choices, I bought a new WDC Black NVMe SN750 and tried to copy all my boot disk (namely "Mac") Samsung 970 Pro to it.

I used CCC 6.x but, as you can see from the image attached, it didn't exactly reproduce the partitions' structure of the source disk because there is no "Mac - Data" and no "com.apple.os.update (the snapshots partition). What did I make wrong?

Indeed, even if I copied the EFI partition with OC from source to destination, OC didn't find anything bootable.

Dear Caseysj, I used the OC 0.7.0 you provided. Every time I sleep and wake up, the Intel i225 network card cannot be used. So I have to plug and unplug it before I can continue to use it. Could you please tell me how to solve it? Looking forward to your reply

Hello @dandan7675,

To determine if the problem is related to OC 0.7.0 please try booting again from your previous OC 0.6.9 EFI. Does the problem occur?

Thanks, I’ll look into the

X570 Phantom Gaming 5-ITX/TB3

Did you need to flash the AsRock board?
Because I can't get boost working which Intel CPU do you use with your UAD Apollo Twin? I'd like to get boost working for the Ryzen. Still stuck at 3.8 GHz.

Yes, the same is true of version 0.69. I also had the same problem with another Z490-G motherboard

Hey guys wondering if you could help me with the USB port mapping of my z490 Vision D. I understand the process of using Hackintool to create the USB map but a little confused about some. Wondering is there a way to set up USB mapping with the downloads available on the first page?

USB port mapping has already been done for both the Z490 Vision D and Vision G.

Thanks for your reply and sorry if this has been covered, where would I find a Z490 Vision D USB map and how do I enable it?

Simply follow the build guide in Post 1 or use Hackintool App (posts 1 and 2 in that thread) to replace your EFI with the 0.7.0 version available through the app.

Another option is to create a USB port map from scratch by following this guide:

I just tested the i225-V 2.5GbE port, and it wakes up normally from sleep and continues to work.
  • Are you sure yours does not wake from sleep?
  • Which version of BIOS is installed in your motherboard?
