macOS 11.4 Update

All good with Opencore 0.6.9, about 25 min install time.

Updated to 11.4 before even reading the warnings here. I don't know what to say, but it worked like a charm. I'm not sure what OC version I have or the kext files, but it was all compiled when I install 11.1

Decided to reboot and check, I'm still on 0.6.4.

OC 0.6.3 USB Checked last Time with 11.3.1

Only had to Pick Mackintosh HD, after 10 Minutes Ready with the NVMe ;-)

made BT and Integrated Camera work, just with switching back to USBinjektAll and generated a new USB Mapping with Hackintool under 11.4 ;-) - Love it !

- but Man, to check and find out that BT on DW1560 was connected via USB was a Pain in the A

HP 440 G5

FileVault Activated. NO SPECIAL CHARACTERS WITH HP440 - Even with USB Keyboard, could switch Keyboard Layouts through the entire World, with no difference !!!!! - You can not see what the heck you are Typing in there.

Had to Sacrifice my Secure Password !

Lucky Me could Reset Password with the Special Key.




OC 0.6.3 HP 8300 SFF picked Macintosh HD Automatic, 20 Minutes Ready, only XBOX360 Controller EXTENSION DID NOT WORK

FileVault Activated.

OC 0.6.9. Hit "Restart Now" in Sys Prefs, walked away to get coffee, came back to an updated desktop. Everything appears to be working. Sound and all USB ports.

Updated to OC 0.7.0 following their guide, and updated my kexts. Updated from 10.15.7 from About this Mac. Went smoothly, 30 minutes. Booted to Big Sur OK, but USB mouse and KB weren't working. Saw a post saying that setting XHCIportlimit to false (No) in config.plist worked for him, and it did for me too.
Everything I've tried works fine.

Easy install as well. updated from 11.2.3 to 11.4 using OpenCore version 0.6.4. Took about 30+ mins to complete. But my USB connections (mouse and Keyboard) were not working. Just like the post above me, I had to set XHCIportlimit to false (No) in config.plist. That corrected my issue as well. Overall, easy peasy.

Everything went smoothly!

1. Updated Clover to 5136
2. Checked clover config file ccpv /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/config.plist
3. Fixed clover config file
4. Updated some outdated kexts
5. Updated macOS to 11.4 (20F71)

Updated, no problems.

Update went as advertised on OC 0.6.4, post update, updated USB boot stick with 0.7.0 and 11.4, checked functionality and updated main EFI. No Issues on any of the efforts. Previously made the USBKext, no updates needed for me.

Finally got support for my RX 6900 XT, but I had to change the SMBIOS from iMacPro1,1 to MacPro7,1. With the first SMBIOS I had crashes and restarts when I tried to use 3D Apps (Unreal) or games. I solved with the new SMBIOS and no problems and totally stable right now... First time I could play Shadows of The Tomb Raider in 4K 60FPS!!!
