Hi guys,
I try to get my Zotac GTX 780 3bg DDR5 to work on my dektop but at the apple logo, at half the bar, the PC reboots.
I followed all the info from Trs96 here
My Card is a Kepler (GK110) that should work flawlessly without any drivers.
I tried on High Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina : Same problem everywhere.

I have a Zotac GT 640 that works perfectly with Nvidia Web drivers but this GTX 780 is finally less easy to set up...

If somebody find this and can help me, it would be really appreciated.

Thanks guys

Romain

Can you confirm the following:
  1. Which version of macOS you are looking to use/run?
  2. How you are connecting the GTX 780 card to your monitor, i.e. which cable and connectors.
  3. Which Boot loader & version you are using?
  4. Do you have WhateverGreen.kext in your bootloader kext folder?
  5. Do you have any graphics options set in your config.plist, other than the Headless Framebuffer for your Intel IGPU (HD530)?
  6. Do you have the Nvidia Web Drivers (NvWD) installed?
  7. Are the NvWD's activated in your config.plist?
  8. Do you have any Nvidia specific boot arguments in your config.plist?
Can you post a screenshot of the Verbose text from your failed macOS boot process.

Hi @Edhawk thanks a lot for your help. I'm sorry i don't even know how to boot in verbose to see the text... I know its like -v but i can't write it at the clover bootloader.
For information, this morning i tried a fresh install, and at the apple logo, the bar take 1 hour to be filled, and then it stay stucked without going to the mac os install screen. I can't even install with my unibeast 9.3 key (UEFI)...

Thanks dude. Sorry guys i'm hacking since long time and still quite a noob ;-)

@Edhawk You'll find attached the verbose infos during the boot.
- Screen captures of the verbose text (Once it blocks, new messages comes every 5-10mns you'll see)
- Clover version info
- Boot arg, graphics injection (nothing checked) etc..

Hope it can be enough to get your help.

Thanks a LOT

Chek my precedent message with screen captures.
If anybody can react to this :
The last message that stucked my booting is KEXTD STALL(0) : 'IOResources'

Hi @pilgrim as I try to install from scratch, all I can answer is what I putted in the zip (unibeast and clover version, OS X version i wish to install, no graphics injected or webdrivers ) I can’t even reach the installer... so I booted verbose and putted the « stuck moment » text with all the other infos in the zip...
