I would add Adobe Acrobat DC to that list. That's a pretty major one that Adobe said they would not fix until Big Sur is officially released. Thank goodness I have a PC when I need to edit PDFs.

I concur, a GM seems imminent. Apples own stuff seems to be working quite well, just some third party software that is lagging behind. CCC, Beyond Compare, VideoProc, Audio Hijack and Little Snitch, to mention just a few that I am fond of using.

Greetings Henties

I took the plunge and installed the Big Sur Public Beta yesterday on my GB Z390 Designare Hack (running OC 0.6.1) and a 2015 Macbook Pro. I've noticed that on my Hack that the "Software Update Pref Pane" seems to be blocked from
Apple's server somehow (I've checked Little Snitch and that's not it..). I've attached screeshots below so you can see the difference in my two machines. Both are enrolled in the Public Beta Program. I re-run the "Public Beta Access Utility" a few times to no avail. Any Idea why the hack is blocked? Other than the already mentioned "Little Snitch" & "C.C.C." everything else seems to be going fine. Thanks for looking..

A couple of things you can do to get pass this - (1) Reboot and clean the NVRAM (2) Check 'csr-active-config' in config.plist is enabled (3) Change 'SecureBootModel' from Default to Disabled in config.plist. Remember any changes must be saved before rebooting. Good luck. (See attached)

Thanks esafeddie that seems to have done the trick! I'm kind of bummed about having to disable SIP as I was thrilled to have it enabled on OpenCore. I suppose when the Big Sur Beta program is over I can go back to enabling SIP.

Yes - Once your installation is complete you can once again disable/enable SIP to suit your particular needs.

One can semi-permanently disable SIP during the beta phase but then you will not receive information on the availability of newly seeded Big Sur updates. I prefer it this way and inform myself via other channels as to what is cooking during the Big Sur development phase.

Microsoft remote desktop can't use..... haizzzzzz

Parallels Desktop network cannot work...

Adobe Acrobat DC is now able to edit and seems to wrk properly now with latest Public Beta and latest version of Acrobat DC.

My haswell based hack initially upgraded without any problems, the attachments refer. On completion of the upgrade one of my screens sported a severe pink tint, as it was not recognized anymore as a native RGB monitor. I had to do some serious reading first to enable me to re-apply the necessary EDID patch to the normally read only Big Sur system volume.
Note also that I have chosen the icons, displayed on my Haswell boot screen, to reflect the type of drive the respective operating systems reside on.

hi Henties, I see that we have almost the same configurations on the 2 hackintosh systems owned. unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I was unable to successfully install the bigsur beta. the system only boots from usb while from ssd it says unbootable disk. are you kind enough to put back your 2 efi folders for haswell and skylake?
