Hi aokman,

thanks for your efi zip file! It works indeed!
I followed this tutorial
from Schießstand - Foto & Video (David).
The David´s efi file don´t work for me.
Luckily, I found your entry here...
Question:
I have a problem with CPU temperature.
In BIOS it is displayed all the time 45-48 degrees Celsius.
Is it not so good or?
My CPU cooler is Noctua NH-C14S.
I don't think it's the wrong assembly.
I tried two times.
The first time with the original thermal paste
from noctua. The second time with K4-Pro.
The same problem occurs in both cases.
Possibly are my screws too loose(?)
I'm afraid to tighten the screws too much.
I've been thinking to watch out the cpu temperature under my hackintosh macOS.
Is that possible? HWMonitor don´t works.
Do you possibly know working kexts and (or) applications?
Thanks so much for your excellent job / tutorial

regards

Hi, aokman

HWMonitor shows me now CPU idle temperature between 36 and 40 degrees Celsius.
I think, its ok.
But unfortunately, HWMonitor doesn't show me a temperature of my graphics card
(Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB).
Thanks again for your efi zip file.

Can anyone point me or help me with fully enabling the onboard graphics for this board? I'm not even sure where to start--the 'About' page only shows 6 MB available for graphics.

I have the same motherboard with a Intel Core i5-9600K. My system randomly restarts with Catalina without any reason. I wanted to compare mine with your Bios Settings. I cant find the following from your Post in my Bios with 8fh

"CPU Vcore/VAXG Protection" - setting this to 400mv resolved the issue."

where can i find it? Do you have an sugestions about the reboot problem

Open my config.plist file using Clover Configurator and change the serial number / board serial number using "Generate New" and save file
1. Where can I find the serial number ?
2. Will it work with my graphics card ( ASUS Radeon ™ RX 5700 XT ROG Strix Gaming OC 8 GB )
3. On the back I have LeHang with WiFi WLan Bluetooth Airport card BCM94360CS2,
On the front - SSD: Corsair Force MP510 1920 GB NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 SSD

After the installation, I can no longer enter the BIOS, even after a reset. The screen remains dark

Can you help me ?

It is in your BIOS voltage settings next to load line calibration etc... :)

Hi guys,

until a few days ago I was a happy macOS Big Sur user.
I was thrilled! It all ran on the above components like a real Mac!
One day, however, came a disappointment.
I wanted to work a bit with music software.
When I connected my USB sound card, I noticed annoying dropouts.
And they appeared on both systems. Both on the macOS Big Sur and on Windows.
This gave me the idea that it is hardware specific and can possibly only be corrected by BIOS upgrade.
Without thinking much (never do it so!) I downloaded the latest BIOS version (F8i) and flashed it.
Restarted the computer. Unfortunately, nothing changed with the sound over usb.
In addition, I have got a problem with WIFI. WLAN card was not recognized.
Then I decided to downgrade the BIOS back.
I installed the same version as before. But this one is from the manufacturer's site.
I have a copy of my origin BIOS, but it does not install!
During install comes a message: "Invalid MAC Address".
What do you think, is the module BCM94360CS2 broken? (But Blutooth works after all!)
Or is it the BIOS? I read somewhere about whitelists for wifi cards in the BIOS.
Do I need a special BIOS version now? Maybe a patch?
I uninstalled the original Intel WIFI module earlier at pc assembly. Maybe that is the problem for BIOS?
Maybe I need to reinstall the Intel WIFI module for flashing? Do you have any ideas?

regards

OK. I'm not doing a bios update on F8i yet. Do you have old bios against it or not?
