[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

As always, your assistance is invaluable! This fixed it right up. I had some trouble getting it to fully work, but I suspect it was because I had it in HS06 when I ran through this process. It seems to work halfway but not quite right. Moving the cable to HS05 did the trick.

Here's a pic for anyone else:

Thanks for answering, Leesureone. I have a 2018 Macmini i5 with Catalina and it shows without problem in HiDPI 1080 at 60hz, but in an Intel Nuc8i5beh with better graphics and connected to the same monitor and with the same cables it only shows the option of HiDPI 1080 of 30hz. I pass you my EFI folder in case you can help me. Thank you
Your config.plist is a compilation of a bunch of stuff, some commented out and other entries and fields unnecessary. I suggest using one of my EFI folders on page 90 of this thread although I haven't updated the clover version in months. You can update it yourself by using a flash drive and mounting the hidden EFI partition and then copying one of the clover folders onto it, then downloading and updating clover and the various new kexts available. I'm recommending all users switch to OpenCore but Clover certainly still works.

WiFi:
I need to enable wifi to use internet sharing from my NUC8i3BEH to my Roku.
I am using the M.2 slot for an SSD. while we wait for a kext for the onboard intel wifi, is there an internal wifi solution that is working well?
thanks

There is a kext that enables wifi but it's still not ready for prime time. The only internal solution is an M2 adapter and Wifi/ bluetooth card of some kind (either a genuine Apple Card or a DW1560 or similar). You can use an external USB Wifi adapter that works with OSX, I have one around here somewhere I picked up from Amazon. Wifi works fine but you won't ever get any Continuity features OSX offers.

This kext can be used to enable wifi and it works directly from kexts folder on Clover or OC.
It is the last version and have improved download and upload speed.
You just need to put your SSID and PASSWORD on the Info.plist

Just curious if you know approximate speeds of either? May give it another try.

Thanks, titi95. I have the same bios as you. I guess OC EFI folders are not interchangeable with EFI clover, right?

If I understand your question correctly the answer is no. The boot loaders are too different and use different drivers and config.plist formatting. You can exchange the entire EFI folder and make the switch that way

Hi Leesureone, I am trying OC5.9 from page 90 on my NUC7i5BNH, thank you!
